I can relate so much to what you guys were saying. Working and training at a Renaissance faire is SO improv focused. The intense "yes, and" line of thought and performing in a public, active and distracting environment has produced some of the greatest entertainers I ever met.

Please get Colm Meaney for an interview. Conner needs to lean on his Stargate mates. Get them all - Sci Fi fan family.

Also you need to put out a 10-15 min highlight video focused on Star Trek appearances.

Probably the best actor in all of Star Trek. She brought the level of “Picard” up so high because of she played that role with such realism and craft. Should have had her in competition/conflict w Riker is S3 because she was as much Number 1 as he was. Brilliance. Great leader in the strike.

Another great episode! If you ever get a chance to discuss some of the set pieces, that would be cool. I'd love to hear about the NX01 that we saw over her left shoulder.

Thoroughly enjoyed this interview. David is a class act. Its seemed like he & Dom have known each other for years. Also I really want to go back & watch Desmonds again

David brought SO MUCH to Discovery. Thinking back on all the different incarnations of TREK, there were many many episodes where the "villain of the week" was a "Booker type" that just fell flat with cliche and trope. It's David's depth and love and spirituality that sets Book apart. Great character, always surprising and with a twinkle in his eye. And as always, a great interview that uses TREK as a launch point, not a focus. Thank you!!!

I think she played her role very well as a vulcan without the typical arrogance that role almost assumes.

I've always felt that it's better to have a thin-neck than a double chin, shatner had both in his years. he reads a lot, and it shows, at 90+ he can still hold an intelligent conversation.

A great interview. Wonderful to hear some native languages spoken. Dom's mic, and the intro music, seemed a bit quiet in this one? Dom's stories never cease to amaze me. That Malaria story was just beyond Hollywood. They should really make a movie about his life!, called "Life, what a drag!"

Amazing interview! Incredible seeing three Trek legends have such a wonderful discussion. I know Dom really wasn’t a fan of the Daniels reveal in Discovery but as a fan of Enterprise it felt pretty cool. Overall Star Trek Discovery referenced and honored Connor and Dom’s show a lot.

For what it's worth, Dax / Terry Farrell was pretty much the only reason I watched Deep Space Nine past the pilot. She was the only character at that point who really felt formed AND had any warmth. The show was really, really, REALLY tonally off in its early days -- the balance was completely wrong and half the character list felt like the writers had no idea what they were aiming for beyond "angry" or "everyman" (it wasn't Voyager levels of "devised in committee" but it wasn't anywhere near fully conceived). They broke the cardinal rule that your leads have to have some unique trait that offsets their broader personality thrust. That they considered cutting her strikes me as insane -- they'd have lost the only emotional anchor the show had.

David Ajala is such a wonderful actor and a great guy. A couple of years ago, when I went to the Star Trek Mission: Chicago convention, I got the chance to meet quite a few hosts of several KZbin channels and podcasts, such as Starfleet Boy, Totty from Trek On The Tube and Fatheree from Tex-Trek. After the convention ended, we were all making one last go 'round in the merch area and David walked right up to us, giving us all fist bumps handshakes and hugs. He thanked us all for watching and told us how much he appreciated our support; he stood there talking with us for a couple of minutes. I thought that was just so cool, he didn't have to do that! Tells you what a classy guy he is! Thanks Dom for another wonderful episode! Get well soon Connor! God bless you guys!

@@Jim-hl5ff Go watch episode #2 with Lolita Fatjo. She asked the boys questions, including about the break up. You may not get all your questions answered, there are some things they don't want to discuss, but that is the best explanation you're gonna get.

David Ajala is a lovely person with such a warm and human approach to life and acting. Good interview Dom. At times it was hard for me to figure out who was interviewing who as the discussion went back and forth. Anyone who is wondering about an acting career can learn from two actors such as these.
