Interesting! The only problem with that line of reasoning is most people are able to buy greatness by cashing in on their equity. Each time they bought and sold they would shift forward that equity until they could afford greatness.

I’m not sure that’s true across the board. Dale was with a client at a Normandy new build last week and he said he couldn’t believe the superior quality of construction. It had the zip system and he said it was so well framed there wasn’t a speck of daylight coming through. We’ve done plenty of new builds and he couldn’t believe the difference in quality. So, no need to give up on Dallas entirely! 😂

Interesting perspective! We actually have it happen quite a bit. It’s usually young white collar men such as engineers or programmers who are financially sharp and want a home that goes up in value. I’m guessing some of the single men we’ve worked with are in the mid 20s if not younger. They’re financial strategists and they see the value.

If the repair is under warranty then that sounds like the makings of a Better Business Bureau complaint. The furnace would typically fall into the two year warranty that covers systems.

Goodness trashed is a strong word! In that video I did give numerous considerations you should take before deciding on Celina. For example, it is very PID heavy. That’s an extra expense but there are plenty of buyers who would be okay with that in exchange for bells and whistle amenities. So, not trashed so much as giving you the realistic side of what you will encounter there.

That is such a great question! I’m actually in the middle of finishing up a video where I rank the best and worst builders between 400k to one million and all three builders have homes within that price range. This is an easy answer based on your criteria. Hands down it’s Perry homes. Perry offers a better warranty - a 2-2-10 and 90% of their google reviews are 4.5 stars or higher. Highland would come in 2nd place and David Weekley a distant third.

I wouldn't say all Realtors are like that. I know we're not!
