They installed the wrong windshield. They installed a DW1525GTN, but it should have been a DW2433GTN. He cut off the lane departure warning system camera. These cameras need to be installed on a factory placed bracket, then need to be recalibrated.

Man I have done a many of those. I used to own an Auto Glass Replacement and Repair company. Had 6 locations across 3 states. Now back to trucking. Sure do miss doing Auto Glass but once I got hurt and had to rely on other people to run the company it just wasnt the same. People didn't want to show up on time, damaged cars and just ruined everything I worked so hard to build. These Guys should have gloves on when touching the glass and seals at all times. The oils from our skin can cause the urethane to not seal properly to the glass side. Also they should run a small bead of urethane between the glass and seal then once installed run a small bead between the seal and body. AGRSS safety standard requires it under the ANSI approves Auto Glass Repair Safety Standard 2000-02. But nice to see the old school training the new school. My Dad started back in 1984 and taught me. I taught all 3 of my Boys and My Daughter. But thankfully they all chose different paths. Be safe Drive and keep the videos coming.

I don’t know much about changing windshield but two suction holders would have been better?.... I think. It’s a heavy glass as well

Your windshield was shot with a BB gun !! That was stupid by the person who did it I'm guessing they didn't think about what would happen if the drive was hurt and a big accident.

I would have rolled with the crack until it started to spiderweb across the window. Have done it many times.

I had the windshield replaced in my T680 in Richfield, the glass company Millis uses there doesn't do a very good job. Put it this way - if I had my eyes closed I can tell you when I'm doing 40 mph and 60 mph now. Two different air leaks and whistles now, it's about enough to drive you nuts lol
