Got a leak when I'm filling up so I got a new filler neck. It didn't come with anything but the part so I bought some $2 metal clamps, don't think they're special in anyway. I wanted to ask if the metal clamps are alright to use and what kind of material would you suggest between the filler neck and the pipe it connects to (you had the joker tube connected to it)?

Are they the metal clamps that have a bolt/screw to tighten or are they the spring type? (use pliers to open) As long as the clamps provide a tight seal then it fine. As for the rubber connection material, make sure it is rated for fuel (petroleum and ethanol) some plastic and silicon materials will swell when they contact fuel. So far the joker tube is holding up well with no issues. (That is an old coolant hose from a Silverado) Mongo got no clue if all coolant hoses are made the same.

@@mongofix worm clamp with a screw to tighten so I think they’ll work. I’ll find a rated hose to make sure. I appreciate the video and the reply 👌👌.
