Today I set out to accomplish 1,000 pull-ups in a single hour.

My shoulder has been injured for a year already, and now I'm in rehab and start going back to lifting weights. You're one of the biggest inspiration. It may seem impossible till you actually done it! Huge respect to you. Just never give up!

as a rower, I feel the pain of those blisters and open wounds on your hands especially when you're washing them. Great job man, thats still an insane amount of pullups.

Awesome job man! A good challenge to try would be doing your bodyweight for deadlift, squat, bench, pull ups & for the total reps your body weight x 10( if you weigh 170 you'd do that for the weight on the bar & for a total of 1700 reps of each exercise) . Will be very hard and take a while but with your mindset & both mental/physical toughness I think you could do it! And it'd make for one hell of a video & future challenge to have other people do!

I watched this video at dinner time and it inspired me. At 10pm EST I decided to see how many pushups I could do in 1 hour. I pushed myself to the limit and did 654 pushups in 1 hour. It was brutal but I feel great now that I achieved it. I'm not a super fit guy by any means (I'm pretty skinny), but I try to do some daily pushups. This was awesome, thx Truett. Stay hard

You are a huge motivator for me bro! This month I have done 3000 pull-ups 6000 push-ups 6000 sit ups and 6000 squats! Was going to bump it up for next month but I haven’t really seen any muscle gains the last few weeks going to go back to weight training but still do the pull-ups

Captain Robert Barclay's 1000 miles in a thousand hours. 1 mile per hour non stop till completed. Captain Barklay (1779-1854) was know as the first professional athlete in history and achieved many outstanding feats for his time. Book about him is a great read I highly recommend.

You know what makes me laugh/cry. Truett is the next generation. Same generation as some of the big TikTok and KZbin people - but doesn’t have anywhere near as many followers. So someone who does a dance is more popular than someone who is setting the bar, constantly pushing, constantly improving and has good family values. I don’t think Truett does this for fame, so it doesn’t really matter, but it does prove that most people don’t like to get uncomfortable and push themselves to be better.

since you did the 50 pullups and 100 pushups under 5 minutes, here 2 more challenges from That's good money: 100 pullups and 200 push ups in 10 minutes or 50 pullups and 100 dips with a 45 lbs plate in 15 minutes. Love your content, the pullup is my favorite exercise.

I went from two sets of 5 a minute for an hour to 6 reps per set after about 7 weeks of training now I just graduated to 7 a minute. I’m working on the one hour record. Some Czech guy just added about a 100 onto the previous one hour record of 1131 which really made my life a lot harder. Was trying to work on the one hour push-up at same time but have decided to focus more on the pull-ups for now. Wanna try both the one hour and 24 hour.

Truett, I’ve got a challenge I think you’d dig. EMOM, 5 burpees, then jog for distance until minute is up. Goal of 3, 4, or 5 miles in total distance. Workout ends when goal distance is reached. Start clock, 5 burps, run until top of minute…repeat.

Here’s a challenge I’ve always wanted to complete but haven’t yet. 100 burpees in sub 5 minutes. Must be chest to floor, jumping with hands clap above your head in a vertical jump. Example, you can’t hop and be bent over at the top of the burpee. All the way down, all the way up. My PR is 5:15. Good luck!

I've tried this with pushups a few times - if you do 44 on set 1, and one less rep until the last set, that equals 990, so one set of 10 after

I can do roughly 37 in a row on a good day, 1 minute I’d say 40. 5 minutes probably around 100, 20 minutes around 320

Bro, try most burpees in an hour. The record is 957. That is a heck of a challenge. I’m not sure how strict the form on the push-up has to be but I know you have to jump at the top. Give it a try, we would love to see it and it would make a great video 👍

Oh yeah I just forgot.. u I pure me and I make 600 dips for an hour on 119kg body weight. Little costochondritis, but am ok. After 3 mouths must got 1000 on an hour. Thank you for the motivation. Never stop doing it!

After I hit 100 I do my normal workout and I will randomly hit sets of 10 in between sets of my normal workout! Hope that helps, sorry I didn’t type it all in one message.
