Why do people overthink this. All it is, is a fun little game mode to give people something to do until the new xpack releases. Nothing more and nothing less. It's like diablo/POE meets WoW. Looks fun to me. I'm in. Remember when we would have to wait over a year for something new to do. It was brutal I would take this over that anytime.

Remember: This is effort Blizzard could have spent on making content for retail. Plunderstorm and Pandemonium is not a gift because there won't be any more content in DF, they are the reason why there won't be any more content updates in DF.

I don't believe it's overthinking because Holly had said a few times now they are testing these things out. They would not take the time to do this if it wasn't for future plans of some sort. What that is remains to be seen.

As a casual that spends most of the time making gold, I love the current power level available from outdoor content, I think its a great balance. I'm looking forward to this new mode, I hope they don't change any balance in retail from it though outside the event.

Raid flexibility with smaller groups is exactly why I prefer raiding in FFXIV at the moment and just doing m+ when I'm playing WoW. I don't wanna deal with 19 other people to do mythic raids in WoW when I can just deal with 7 other people in another MMO I enjoy playing

just dont understand wow player seriously.... in shadowland s3/s4 barely any new content people cry about it. end of s3/s4 DF a brand new game mode + a entire old expansion with new cosmetic and sht and people still crying about it..... MAX was right WOW player never gonna be happy and will always complain about everything

This is just a daft season idea for retail WoW. It's nothing to do with how Retail will be. At the end of the season you'll just have another character to play WoW with but this will be a fun other thing. All the buffs and power and suchlike will just be no more at that time.

This isnt for people who considering themselves elite players. This is for people to have fun with. You're worried that they bring this to live and then your skill no longer matters as much. A weakaura can then just tell people what to press.

This is content for the majority of wow players. This will be awesome I will only play this and skip all s4 it's dull and nothing new, I just want to have fun.

if you like to first get your gear.... to then farm the hardest content.... why do you hate both the random powers and itens in quests? both will solve your issue with gear....

I like it because i can't do mythic or mythic+ df. Where do one joins? not a lot of people have just mythic dungeons up for the achievement for example good boy mount. I think its dumb they took just mythic out of df on lfr. for people wanting to complete the achievement. You need to be in guild or know players to do mythic with. Which me as player in wow a lot of stuff i do is solo. I do not know a lot of people do mythic raids and dungeons with. They need to make both for two sides.

i hate that there is so many collectibles in a fomo on a small time period midsummer. Would be fine to readd challenge mode and stuff but instead they force you to redo all campaigns, rep farms for recolored mounts.

I wish people knew the difference between "limited time" and "fomo", instead of parroting whatever buzzwords they heard Asmongold spew on his last stream of reacting to other people's work. You aren't forced to do anything and you are completely free to skip out on it, which I personally think you should, since the mere prospect of playing the game makes you so upset.

I’m newer to WoW (began a little over a year ago) and I honestly find it shocking how often WoW players are throwing around “fomo” and claiming that blizzard is forcing them to do anything. 1) it’s a video game, literally no one is making you do anything. But 2) if you do want to play and progress in the game, some things are forced (ie leveling or gearing), but a limited time just-for-fun event with zero ties to your main characters’ power and only offering cosmetic rewards is in no way “forced”. Players really need to come to terms with the idea that not every piece of content will be catered to their wants or something they’re interested in playing and that’s okay. I come from other games that all had limited time events, battle passes, cosmetics, etc and most players fully understood and were comfortable choosing to just not do the things they weren’t interested in. Yeah maybe it’s a bummer to not get some cool limited time skin, but they didn’t throw fits about it (at least not to this level lol).

@@palikaras123 I'm not here to measure dicks with you. You've obviously put a lot of time into the game and think that quitting now would make it all a waste of time. Time enjoyed is not time wasted. It's only when you are not having fun that playing the game is a waste. You do what is right for you, I can only tell you what I would do and the last thing I'd do is complain about a game I don't like in KZbin video comments. That is, without any doubt, a waste of time.
