Coach Bo went 6 and 6 in 1984 and they lost in the Holiday Bowl. I can’t remember how the fan base felt then but imagine if that happened this year; that fan base would be beside themselves.

Harbaugh broke his arm in this game going after a fumble. During Schembechler's tenure, the Wolverines lost to michigan state 3 times in 20 years, in '69, '78' '84 and the game next year in east lansing, the Wolverines spanked the spartans in their own Stadium, 31-0, I was at that game.

no one really had a "student section" back then. just wasnt thought off. hell, msu didnt even have a student section really till the izzone showed up. i mean, jud had a "student section" but they all didnt wear the same shirts.
