Sharla’s husband was keto for a little bit and they do have at least one video where she made all keto/low carb. And when looking through the database of recipes you can select any diet restrictions such as low carb. If you are in the Facebook group, make a post asking and I’ll be sure to send you the link!

I can attest to the smell of the beef barbacoa! I used a 3 1/2 lb chuck roast. Son’s girlfriend ate 2 “tacos”, son ate 4 tacos, and hubby ate the rest over 3 days. Prepping another one tomorrow for us to have while my in laws are in town!

Hey girls! Just wanted to say we tried the Beef Barbacoa. Lovely and spicey. So good. I even cut the peppers in adobe in half and it was still enough spice. We put it on tortillas with a little sour cream and fresh cilantro. This will definitely stay in the round up list to make. Got my freezer stocked up for several months. Yes, the chicken street tacos are a must.

Excellent to hear! I (Christie) find the Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork too spicy with a whole can of the Adobo peppers, but with the Beef Barbacoa, I didn't mind at all. Isnt' that weird? I'm glad you enjoy it! And YES to the Street Chicken Tacos forever!!

These all sound so good, and most are new to me. For the summer I focused on grilled freezer proteins,some of these cooked in our Ninja Foodie air fryer/grill plate. Now I will go back to slow cooker, pressure cooker and oven. The first one on my list is the Beef Barbacoa. But we love corn tortillas, and that’s how our local Mexican restaurant serves it. It might not make it to the freezer, or we will cut it in half.

It's a large recipe so you could cut it in half and still make about a thousand tacos! OK That's an exageration but you get the idea. :)

Street chicken tacos tonight! I was supposed to cook them last week but plans changed. Hubby looked in the sink this morning and said “are you SURE this time?” Yes. Definitely. Even paused the video to go take it out of the freezer

LMBO at the end. You so silly! I'm a big fan of the Meatball Meals! Love them. I was thinking...if you find a good deal on Fresh Potatoes, it might be worth it to prep boil/ Par-Cook and freeze them for making FMs with. That way they are at the ready. Could even put up some Loaded Twice Baked Potatoes while you are at it. In Theory you could also have a day making Meatballs and maybe Meatloaf. Any Prep Ahead of FM making is going to be a big help. You know I love you both. Peace.

use your insta pot to parboil your potatoes literally 5 minutes on high pressure quick release. then i have 3 pounds of diced potatoes for soups, stews, and 100's of recipes

Christie here. Neither of us do any canning. My mom canned many things when I was growing up but I never learned. I sometimes wish I did but I also think I have plenty of domestic abilites and am fine with not knowing how to can things. lol

HELP!!! Are you finding it increasingly difficult to find flat quart freezer bags? All I’m seeing in the stores are the “Stay Open design for easy filling", which don’t freeze flat like the old style.

Ziploc makes the flat ones, available in grocery stores. These are not the slider bags, just the "zipper" bags. Aldi also has the flat ones. I know the WalMart Great Value have the bigger flat bottoms, and the Ziploc slider bags. Those sliders always seem to break on me. So I stick with the Ziploc zipper bags 😊

@@gingermate7490thank you! I will definitely try Aldi. I’m going to cal, the manufacturer tomorrow to see what is going on. There are several people in their comments section saying that the new flat bottom bags keep tearing on the side and no longer seal all the way across the top, which causes leaking. I’m so disappointed with this change. I carefully looked on Amazon to find one that did not say easy open and ordered four large boxes. They came yesterday and are the stay open bags, so they are going back. Annoying!!!

We haven't had a problem finding them here in Canada so far, but maybe it's a sign of things to come. I know Ziploc changed their formula again and the bags seem thinner than ever, which is disappointing. Shrinkflation shows up in the weirdest ways and it's so frustrating.
