8:35 20+ reps sets are mostly for people with joint issues or that are 40+. Those sets are easy on the joints, connective tissues and tendons, and while they get stronger month by month you can increase the weights and lower the reps. But if you're hard to break, i suggest to not do them. Mental fatigue will become the main issue preventing progressive overload

when saying 12-20 sets per muscle group, do you mean that biceps for example you have to do these much sets? What about compound lifts like pull ups, would you consider the sets of it as if they are training the biceps or what? It's kind of vague what you said about sets per muscle
