Hey Mario I didn't watch the video yet , but I came to tell you some things. I've been lifting for roughly three years now and have been doing athletic body building for about eight months. Been following you for a while and its funny how after I started taking your advice, my bench press shot from 185 for 5 to 225 for 5 within a few months. I stopped focusing so much on protein and started taking carbs and fats more serious. I also started taking the quality of the food into consideration. This past week, I signed up for Muay Thai and had two, 90 min sessions. After those sessions, I don't ever wanna hear some body builder post about how hard they train or see any cringe videos where body builders are making silly faces while the video is saturated, talking about "one last rep". No. Fighting is so much more difficult. I've pushed myself to the limit at the gym before but it was nothing compared to this. I wanna say thank you for pushing me in the right direction and giving me the confidence to actually even go to a fighting class. We're the same age and I got inspired seeing somebody my age doing all these things. Its like I've heard. Every body builder wants to be a fighter but is too scared to actually get hit and get humbled.

I’ll have to disagree with your placement on inverted rows. If you load up with a weighted vest or backpack it will be quite easy to approach failure on this exercise. Although, weighed vests are practically not at any gym, I can see why at the gym it would not be the greatest exercise unless you were to bring your own vest. Inverted rows are a staple calisthenics bodybuilding exercise.

@mattc4266 3 ай бұрын
@@lachlanross1 yes that is lol . Lats are stretches when they’re overhead . Your arm isn’t overhead . You’re also performing transverse abduction which is the rear / side delts . Your lats are shortened that’s why you can see them if they were stretched you wouldn’t see them as much cuz they would be stretched.
@lachlanross1
@lachlanross1 3 ай бұрын
@mattc4266 you can stretch a muscle in different directions and just cause you can see a muscle doesn't mean it isn't stretched. Lats don't need to be fully Overhead to be stretched for example on a cable row there is a very good stretch. A good rule of thumb is that if the elbows are tucked into your side its a lat biased movement and if elbows are flared it's trap biased. And I would argue that regardless what you say if I feel a movement in my lat it's a lat movement like I feel lat Pullovers in my tris so I don't do them cause I'm trying to train back
