Love to see true boxing fans and hear their respective opinions.. I'm not very old but my generation and those younger missed out on much of this, esp the dominance of RJJr which lasted basically a decade between 93-03.. Due to the direction boxing has taken since, profits and the undefeated factor now weighs more than dominance compared to competition, talent, etc.. True there are many other fighters during this era who were truly or borderline great but Boxing Legends TV was pretty spot on considering this is a topic that will forever be up for debate.. I do believe that Tapia, Mosley, Collins (Benn even) and a few others were a little more deserving in the honorable mention section over those who were chosen but again this is all debatable.. Great work Boxing Legends Tv..

@SPIDERM0OSE2 жыл бұрын
Due to all his cherry picking, ducking, playing politics, publicly taking step aside money & suing other fighters for not offering him enough step aside money. Lewis is a fraud, possibly the biggest fraud in boxing history. He never beat one genuine contender, never took a genuine contenders unbeaten record, never fought a genuine top class opponent until after they had become faded n jaded from fighting wars with each other. Then he ducked the rematch with with the one fresh contender he did fight & retired instead & even then Klitschko wasnt unbeaten ! The only name on his record for the entire 90s is Holyfield & that was in 1999 after Holyfield had a heart attack, retired & came back. Mercer arguably beat him, Bruno gave him hell, McCall KOd him & none of those guys were unbeaten. He was a glorified bum, a political token.

He was at best 2nd division getting his glass jaw cracked by 3rd division nobodies/prospects ... WHO WERENT EVEN UNBEATEN ! Bowes record wasnt great in terms of names compared to Tyson & Holyfields but at least he fought a PRIME Holyfield & he was signed to fight Lewis before Lewis BLEW IT by getting KOd by McCall. NOBODY ever took step aside money before Lewis done it so often it became normal, before Lewis it was a disgraceful thing to do to take money n surrender yer right to fight for the RICHEST PRIZE IN SPORT ! Lewis cut his cloth accordingly, his record tells no lies & Im telling no lies about him or his padded, carefully managed record.

Congrats on the 200k and you deserve it. I'd go: 1. Roy Jones Jr 2. Holyfield 3. Lennox Lewis
