Hey Dude, I'm excited to watch another one of your videos! I'm a new subscriber, and I do think that you are a great fabricator. I can build engines, but I'm a Ford guy, and unfortunately I have a health condition which prevents me from having the money required to play. If I ever come into some cash, I'm going to build a Cleveland headed monster. Thanks for the education, and inspiration. With respect, Wes Sept

You need one of those new distribute is... That is the new smart distributor... For older gas engine... That actually allows you to adjust your timing from inside the car with a distributor.. You can set a window for advance in D advance... Which is really good for your application

The ol' sunbird won't be making its way back out until April or May. It's still around 10 degrees up here, snowing, ice covered roads, ECT.... But it will be back in spring.....

Have you had any problems with the rear needle bearings in the M90's with this draw through application?
@rottersgarage3 жыл бұрын
Not yet, just finally getting the thing running good enough to drive, I do want to pull them down at some point and check the bearings out, you aren't the first to bring up this issue.... Maybe when winter comes around I'll pull them apart and we will see.... I'm curious as well, many people have said it's an issue.......
@N-Lee2 жыл бұрын
a company on Ebay called "embry specialty machine" sells the upgrade bearings that have two lip seals, and are supposed to be able to handle gas, alcohol, and nitromethane. purpose of the double seal design is to keep liquids out of needle bearings, and it works.

All man that's gotta suck you were not the only one with bad luck going or coming back from that event there was a bunch of people that had shit luck anyway hope you get a good electric pump for it and get all the bugs worked out of it because that thing is bad ass as a kid I use to see them sunbirds everywhere and now they are all gone it's like a Monza or vega type body.

Hey mate, would you be interested in two smaller pulleys?
@rottersgarage3 жыл бұрын
Actually I already have a pair sitting here. Going to focus on the fuel system first, hopefully resolve my issues there, then maybe feed it some more with the pulleys. Thanks though!

That car is made for the strip not the street. I would give anything to know what kind of ET it would pull on the strip. 5 bucks says you could do 12's if you can keep it pointed in a straight line!

@Marvin55542 жыл бұрын
Hey man I was wondering if you wanted to fab me a similar system, I'd gladly pay you for the work if you're interested. I have two m90's sitting on my shelf and it's itching me to do a similar build 😆

Edelbrock needs to leave the carbs alone, they might be equal to the older Rochester carbs nah no way. And to put the money into a good build and stick one of the edelbrock on the engine, I'm like well there not serious about performance and power. Just my opinion, keep up the good work!
@Saddedude3 жыл бұрын
Dad had nothing but problems.with his edelbrock carbs.
@ViewThis.2 жыл бұрын
@@Saddedude I've never had problems with an Edelbrock carb, especially on a blower application. That's why I use them. No leaks, mechanical secondaries, no need for power valve crap, no bogging, easy to tune, adjust and rebuild.

Do you think that two of does blowers would work with a ls?
@rottersgarage Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, and I kinda wish I would have used an LS. I did collect 4 more of these superchargers, maybe 3 on a LS???
@N4GUZZ Жыл бұрын
@@rottersgarage i know this. 3 blower on a ls would be rad. I also think it wouldn't blow up if you have the 4.8 rods hahaha.
