🤸🏼‍♀️ A gentle 10 min. stretching routine to help you loosen up after your run.
🎯 Target areas: t-spine, hips (mainly: glutes, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors).
💭 How To Use: as a cool down after you’re finished with your run (would not recommend as a warm up due to the amount of stretches rather than activation exercises).
🔧 Equipment (optional): a blanket + a mini band (modifications for no equipment are provided!)

I love this! A lot of post-running stretches just focus on the legs and I feel the rest of my body (especially my back) needs some love too!

I mean a bit of stiffness is actually great for running performance + economy 😎 however too much can have unwanted side effects 👀 so keeping it balanced it key 🔥

That‘s so good to hear!! 👏🏼😎 Over on IG I share more about my personal training routines ☺️. I‘m very much a fan or a performance-based approach that‘s varied. Fitness is not just strength or appearance - but includes endurance, coordination, power, speed, flexibility etc. 👏🏼. That being said I have been training consistently for the past 10 years with an emphasis on resistance training 🤗.

I recommend doing the inverted poses at the end instead of the beginning. Inversion right after a tough run is no fun! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

feel free to change it up - personally it takes me 5-10 mins before doing the cool down if I‘m running outside 🤗
