Hi mam.. thank you for a wonderful series... I have already loos lota of weight by following your surya namaskar series... Now after my c section delivery I again trying to loose my belly fat as well as whole body.... Can I do these exercise after 5 month of my c section delivery...??

Hi Rashmi... whenever I try to do the raising legs and touching ground ( @6 minutes) along with my lower abdomen, my upper legs struggle. Is it because I need to tone my legs too or could I be doing something wrong? Thanks very much for your time x

It's because you need to work on building core strength. It will happen as you keep practising and repeating

Acrobatic yoga is not yoga it is acrobatics. For that one needs a lot of core strength. So yes it will develop core strength but in order to perform any kind of acrobatics you need a lot of core strength anyway.

Hi Rashmi, just came across your channel. I am searching for some yoga exercises for my mother to watch and do, she is above 60 and has knee pain. Also doctors have advised her to reduce weight for her knee pain. Hence she needs yoga which is for senior citizens but also helps in reducing weight. Can you help me please?

I didn't understand your question. We hold plank for a few seconds after lifting up and down switching from down dog to plank. So we are holding the plank pose.

Hi Rashmi, am interested in trying your yoga. Are all exercises in your videos a combination of yoga and Pilates or its yoga alone. I would like to do yoga alone to start with hence the query.I was doing yoga before but not regularly. Are these core exercises ok to do one year after a csection

Hi Gayathri, most of the videos are combinations of yoga and Pilates but you can try the Asana practice videos in beginner , intermediate and advanced playlists. And yes you can do core exercises a year after c section.

hello mam, the boat pose gives great pain in the lower back... i do yoga on a regular basis.. Even while doin kapalpathi, the lower back hurts a lot.. Any tips or ideas..

Sit with your back against a wall when you do kapalabhati. There is slight pressure on the lower back while holding boat pose but if it's unbearable pain you need to work on strengthening your lower back and lower abdominal muscles

I suffer chronic back pain since the birth of my first child and the doctors have suggested yoga or pilates as a way to strengthen my core. The problem is, I am unable to get in to many of these positions comfortably. I am not very flexible and have some weight to lose. Do you have any advice? Even a plank is hard for me to manage :(

You can try the intermediate or advanced abs workouts where the knees are straight. This is for beginners since most people find it difficult to hold with straight knees when they start out.
