You're going to love this workout... It's a short 10-minute workout you can do at home... Using nothing more than a set of dumbbells. Full body workouts really trigger your metabolism and man-boosting hormones... And they are great for burning calories all day long after the workout... Give this a try!

What brand of adjustable dumbbells are you using Mark?
@markduncan-brown47174 жыл бұрын
@@jcmoney23 Sorry to disappoint... Mine are quite light ..and they are the dumb kind ... not adjustable... I just adjust my pressups ... yesterday 100 haha.. [50 then 40].and stomach strengthening...and some tennis ... any suggestios to this... I dont even do 3 sets ... of course that is better but I do overload the body... I dont rest between ex ...presssups .....then three types of plank then weights and stretches... its simple and quick but please suggest if you have ideas thanks

Quick question, why do you advise lifting your hips doing press from the floor, but advise against it when doing flat bench pressing on a bench ?
@jeannineslack9992 Жыл бұрын
First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. kzbin.infoUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.

Working out is so addicting after you get used to it. I have to use real light weight due to a bad auto accident years ago, but if I can’t work out and get that endorphin release, I get grouchy as a bear. LOL 😂 Working out makes you feel better and gives you a more positive outlook on life and keeps your immune system healthy. Just don’t use too much weight and injure yourself. Thank you for posting this and helping us all to better ourselves. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I'm 59, in the gym 6days a wk. alternating days of Heavy to moderate standing only of OVPress, Squats, T-Bar Rows. Cables and leg press when joints feel the need for rest..and then a circuit session like yours 2-3 times in 30days. It is a Fantastic workout to jolt the heart...indeed. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Thank you so much Mark for demonstrating these exercises... Im a night nurse so after a 12-14 hour shift, the priority is to get hm and sleep get up and do another shift. So there's really Not a lot of time on the days/Nights I'm working. I really like these Full body workouts... For me it might lean into a 20-30 minutes, but its realistically do able in my case. I Really want to faithfully wk out, but times not always on my side specially after a Long shift at the hospital... But I Can Do this realistically at hm in 30 minutes shower & go to bed... Thank you again.. I really needed to visually see the time factor involved, and this Will do it for me... After a while of doing this I'll be checking your website out for more examples... Very Grateful, Thank You again... Sincerely appreciate you helping us Get Back in Shape... Your an Inspiration Mark.. Much Gratitude Sir...

I will add this routine to my daily workout. Still working from home, in my mid 50s, I work 7am to 4pm. Will keep the 10 sprints of 80 meters each at 6:30am and this workout right after work. This is all you need guys, the key thing is to stick to it everyday. The morning sprints can be done on empty stomach. The pm lifting, just take some good healthy Amino Acid 30 minutes before workout. The one I like is Perfect Amino Electrolytes by BodyHealth.Body Health. The weights he has are great but I like my Adjustable Bowflex. Good luck everyone and don't forget to warm up, document everything and don't eat junk.

Simon if I could give you an opinion please. I have recently found out - after years of doing it wrong!! - that it is much better/beneficial/useful to do the lifting 1st while the body is fresh and to then follow up with the cardio. It's harder to lift when you're knackered after good cardio. Leave it with you to mull over.

I invented this same routine for myself before I ever watched this video, except that I do goblet squats, flat bench, and rows in a 4 set circuit. Then I rest for about 2 minutes then I do close grip push ups with push-up bars, seated overhead press, and seated curls for 4 rounds. I takes about 45 minutes to complete and is a good full body dumbell workout.

@kurtfranklin26804 жыл бұрын
Pretty good routine. I’d change a few things. 1. squat into press/ thruster. Using the weight used for the overhead press you can do this big movement when you’re fresh and get the squats in at the same time. 2. Romanian deadlift. Squats are not enough for legs. This is a far less demanding move to follow thrusters and can be done with the same weight for higher reps. 3.pushups Explosive if you’re light, on your knees if you’re heavy. 4. One arm row Less stress on the lower back rest and repeat. Rowing hits the biceps, pressing hits the triceps. If you’re going to be lifting overhead it should be the first thing in the circuit because if the most dangerous exercise. And you don’t want to fatigue your triceps between sets. If you love working biceps and triceps in isolation, finish all the rounds of your circuit then do a couple supersets of bi’s and tri’s as a finisher.

Thanks for such a concise, effective workout. Great for anybody that has a real busy schedule. One question...I know everybody is different, but do you have a ratio in mind in terms of how much you change the weight? I.e. the first 3 exercises are the same, let's say they were 15 pounds....the next 3 drop 2.5 pounds each? Or should the first 3 exercises be a lot more weight than the next 3...something like 20 pounds,....then 10, 7.5. And 5...thanks!
