Undestand where you are comming from - however I think the NC overthere is kinda pointless in regards of Werdum and Ferreira - due to the fact that Ferreira tapped, but Werdum didnt let go of that triangle then and kept squizing. He let go after Ferreira had a change of mind and started blasting Werdum with strikes. Well, if the triangle would be applied correctly Ferreira would go out. So Werdum is kinda lucky that it was overturned to NC

The inhaler thing I absolutely don't agree with. If a fighter has asthma verified by a doctor then they should get to use an inhaler. As someone who has had asthma since I was 5 years old - being out of breath from asthma is not the same as being out of breath from working out and it is unfair to force asthmatic people to just not get their medication.

Would be nice to get a medical perspective as well if there are any licensed doctors out there. Also asthmatic, and I can tell you from my own experience that inhalers have never helped me: run faster, jump higher, punch harder etc. Inhalers, for the most part, simply normalize breathing that is naturally difficult for people based on certain environments or other issues. An inhaler does NOT grand superpowers, yet when people hear that it's a "steroid" it seems like it gets this unfair stigma that one or 2 puffs will turn you into Brock Lesnar. 100% untrue, to the best of my understanding.

@@Alarak87 yeah i have asthma and played sports k-12 and was always allowed to have my inhaler. It didn't give me an advantage it just, as you said, normalized breathing. When you have asthma induced from sport, your breathing feels like your lungs are clogged with mucus. You can hear the wheezing. It doesn't matter how hard you train or how in shape you are, sometimes your asthma happens and sometimes it doesn't. It can be from things like being in an elevated/lowered climate than you are used to or an especially pollenated day or whatever. If a kid with asthma saw a fighter or any athlete need to use the same inhaler they did it would be pretty motivating. Instead, here they see it and the dude gets disqualified and they say "oh guess i cant do that either"

It would be difficult to argue in favor of that unless they were blatantly intentional fouls. Ferreira doing the Brazilian tap with Werdum would be a case for a DQ win but blows to the back of the head while fighters are in motion wouldn’t.

i cut my finger off in 3rd grade! and it was also just hanging by a sliver of skin, less than a mm! when i went to the hospital, the doctor was squishing it with his fingers, asking if i could feel anything, and of course i couldnt, and he literally took his snips, and cut it off right in front of me! my father was like HOOOHOHOO WTF! i didnt really know what to think, but the skin was so mangled that he cut it all the way off, trimmed it up, an literally just sewed it back on, said we will see if it holds, splinted it, and sent us on our merry way lol. it actually did heal, an there is just a slight numb spot, but other than not being able to bend my last knuckle, as it got cut off pretty much right on it, i am fine! STORY: In all our elementary schools in my town, the outside doors that lead to the playground/blacktop areas for recess, are the heavy ass metal doors. they have a spring assist on them, so when they shut, they slam shut basically super fast, but right as it contacts the door jam, the piston recoils and springs open the door maybe 10inches or so, then it closes gently, im sure you know what i am talking about. well in the morning, we did like a weather thing, so and it was my turn to go outside real quick and check the thermometer! so i went outside the door, checked it real fast, and went right back in before the door closed. when i was coming inside, i was running my left hand along the inside of the door(the door opened to the outside, swinging open to the right as you are exiting), and going to my left in a kind of hurry, because it was cold and winter in wyoming, my pinky finger went right into the door jam right as the initial closing of that heavy metal door! it was just my first knuckly of my little hand that went into the jam, and i felt a quick pinch, and ripped my hand away as soon as i felt it. luckily, or maybe it doesnt really matter at this point, the door sprung open that little bit, allowing my finger to come out at least. i looked down at my hand, and my finger was hanging on by a thread, not even bleeding, but obviously i was in trouble, and in shock! now i was the class clown, so when i said, 'I CUT MY FINGER OFF! I CUT IT OFF!', my teacher didnt believe me for a second, and was like shush up n come tell us the temperature! well my friend was sharpening his pencil at the time, and seen me and my finger, and literally said holy shit his fingers cut off! the teacher got up worried, seen me, and started freaking out, like omg omg omg! it was at this point i started balling, my friend started crying, teacher picks me up in her arms, and starts rushing me to the main door to run me to the nurse, and all most the whole class started crying lol. she rushed me to the nurse, and the nurse had just gotten into her car actually, to go to the other school, as our small town had a pogo nurse that was shared by the other 2 elementary schools in our small town. someone went and got her, she came n seen me, didnt really know what to do, so basically put my hand on some of those brown paper towels, put my finger how it should be, covered it, and put a bunch of ice over my hand. she then called my mom who was at work only about 1 mile away, maybe a 3 minute drive, and said T-Rope pinched his finger in the door and probably needs to go to the hospital! word for word lol. so my mom hearing this thought that i was being a baby or something, and took her sweet ass time, at least 30 minutes, coming to pick me up. when she got there an seen what actually was goin down, she flipped her lid an called the nurse a dumb fuckin cunt lol. i remember it so vividly! the first time ive ever heard that word no doubt! she then rushed me to the hospital, and the story resumes basically where i started. so ya, theres my story lol. kind of related, kind of not, but hey, hopefully home boy's finger held after they inevitably sewed it back on, and that he has full mobility in it! i remember seeing this covered not too long ago, but it wasnt covered very well, n almost everyone blurred out the photo. pretty knarly seeing it here! Thanks for the read, i havent told this story in ages ! kind of fun to recount
