Bungie really didn't like players betraying their allies, especially story crucial NPCs. In Halo 3, Arbiter and Johnson would kill you in one hit if you betrayed them, as well as all of noble team in Reach. They really came down on you for being the bad guy.

There was one mission in 3 that took me a while to realize they were allies, as up to that point they were exclusively enemies. Needless to say, I went on several shooting sprees that did not end well. Until I finally noticed that even with them shooting me the reticle was green.

Bioshock's Little Sisters will treat you different if you Harvest them instead of Rescue them. Even if you Harvest just one and Rescue the rest the rest will treat you and talk to you different. I rescued the little sister in my playthrough to get the Good Ending. I know about this because I have the Strategy Guide to the game. Harvesting Little Sisters will get you the most Adam but also you get the Bad Ending.

The only problem with the Luis example in RE4 is that it is incredibly easy, especially on higher difficulty levels, to accidentally shoot him during the setpiece. After all, you're trapped in a relatively small room constantly attacked by multiple enemies who will dodge and feint all around you. Doesn't happen often but getting a game over during this forced close-quarters assault is extremely frustrating.

I do wish there was a dating sim that would allow for a polyam ending, but that would recall a shifting perspective to make sure every member of the polycule has firm links between each other... because a harem ending isn't really.... good polyam in most cases.

Well technically in ME2 you can get away with not getting everyone's loyalty missions and have only one or two killed in the suicide mission. On my insanity run I only had to have Kasumi, Samara, Zaeed and Garrus loyal and had only Jacob and legion die in the suicide mission. Also these 4 have the easiest missions in insanity difficulty cutting your game time massively if you just want to get the achievement.

Fallout 4 if you kill any of the settlers you bring into your sanctuary camp even accidentally the rest of the settlers will kill you and you will have to reload your last save this even includes the character that turns out to be a killer if you let him in.

While this is usually a great mechanic I really hate it when it's implemented badly. It's really terrible for example when the game gives you stupid AI companions who keep running into your line of fire and than start attacking you because you accidentally hit them once or twice.

ok, First of all, not all dogs are good and "not-deserving" to die... I am looking at you, infected dogs from RE and the annoying dog from Duck Hunt... Second of all, and I am getting tired of that one, You cant blame Gerald nor a noob of the series for romancing both girls... I already spoke about that 1 billion times, but let's go again: First, there wasn't a choice "would you like to romance both girls" or "would you like to try a menage"... Gerald slept with both of them, yes, but he did the same with thousands of other girls in the game. Whoever didn't know the history behind the game, like me, wasn't aware that he had amnesia and - during that time - romanced Tess... That means he could have feelings for both girls and is conflicted... Come on, can you actually tell me you never slept (or felt like) with an ex???? That does not mean they would get back together, it was just a one time thing. And second: the world is ending, would you really let the guy who is gonna save the world bounded, without any sleep in a very painful and discomforted position? congratulations, you just probably caused the world to end, due to him being exhausted or sore... Yeah, yeah, he is a videogame hero, but he is also - kind of - human and need a great night rest like we all do.

I think it's good that in Mass Effect actions have consequences but with Miranda they really overdid it there are various decisions or things that are difficult to overlook that lead to her dying and only one way that leads to her surviving. Unfortunately, once she survived, the game developers can't seem to think of much else to do with the character, because apart from the citadel dlc, she's conspicuous by her absence. which makes the shitty ending of part 3 even more shitty
