One of the most boring games i played was Deathloop. AI was braindead and gameplay loop was meh. Thanks Gabe for Steam refunds, saved me a lot. Also, idk why but ever since 2020 there are so many stinkers coming out.

I was exactly the same with Deathloop I tried 3 times to get into it and I just couldn’t. Just found it very repetitive and boring. Such a shame because the gunplay was quite fun!

You are absolutely right about live service over-saturation. The industry needs to get the message. Most gamers are adults with jobs and huge gaming backlogs. We do not have unlimited time and if you are into live service games you will probably only be focusing on one title. (Helldivers 2 most probably)

Just because you state openly that you will include predictions doesn't make it right. I hate this bandwagon effect where people stop using their own brain to make an informed decision and allow other people to think for them. "Oh, Spider Man 2 is just too samey, so ... bad game", Oh, Rise of the Ronin is more grounded and doesn't have yokai like Nioh, so... bad game", " Oh, Callisto Protocol has only a functional combat, not an amazing one, so.. bad game", "Oh, Concord resembles Guardians of the Galaxy (not original, fair enough, but why is this bad?) and it's generic so ... bad game" etc Yes, it's great when games have great stories, good writing, compelling characters, fun combat, innovations and novel ideas etc But at the end of the day what matters most is if it's FUN TO PLAY. It's easy to trash the hard work of hundreds of developers for a couple of years with just two or three harsh words, when understandably the results are lackluster. But unless there's greed involved, it's full of glitches, unplayable, or something really really bad in the overall design (e.g. Skull Island: King Kong) then we should be a bit more accepting of average games.

I hate live service games. Tried suicide squad kill JL on a trial and I didn't get past the tutorial. Was boring and I hated it. I absolutely love Dc and the Arkham games. Shame. Looking forward to Wolverine. The 3 spiderman games have all been Amazing. Single player story's is what I want as a player. I don't do online stuff like this generation.

Not a live service or online all the time gamer, however, I did pick up skull and bones on deep sale for $20, for what it is, it’s not terrible just lacking a lot more content. Why kind of pirate doesn’t have weapons and fight on land? Why can’t I swim? South Park is a pass for me, even if it was free. The other 2 games were great, this just looks like a cash grab. X defiant is what it is, an online multiplayer shooter live service free to play style of game that is just another one in the genre, nothing new to add. However, I do play it every once in while. No interest in Concord, Star Wars battlefront, multiverses, or foam stars. AC Shadows looks like it will be fun but I feel like AC in Japan is another cash grab. I will probably pick it up when it gets a deep price cut or on sale. Same with Star Wars Outlaws.

Great to see u back and at it! I agree with 'Suicide Squad' being just horrible. It shows the greed and worst of gaming in one title. Disgraceful. However on AC shadows, i think will be good (voice acting aside). The apology u mentioned was mostly because of their marketing (flags recreation i believe) and if Yasuke was actually gives full samurai status (historian debate) - his existence is not in question. U really need to approach it with 2 factors; good story and excellent gameplay. I think they oww us that for $70.00

Pretty accurate list. The only two I don’t agree with are AC Shadows and Alone In The Dark. I think it’s too early to make a judgement on AC Shadows. I played Alone In The Dark last month. By that point the game had been patched so there were no longer any game breaking bugs / glitches. I agree that the combat was clunky but the atmosphere, general exploration and puzzles were all pretty good. There are certainly better horror titles out there but overall this was still a decent enough game. P.S. any chance of a video listing your top 10 favourite PS5 games since the console first released?

I was looking forward to alone in the dark and sort of looking forward to rise of the ronin in march. I played those two, didn't like them (thank god for gamefly). ROTR was better than AITD though. I agree about what you said with AITD and I did get a bug when I just started playing the game. The game froze up, so I had to relaunch the game. Also, the camera was bad too in the game. You said astros playroom at the end of the video, but ik you meant astrobot. Btw I finished LA Noire some days ago. It was an ok game. I'll give it a C. It does remind me a bit of mafia especially what happens at the end. I did notice lagging issues mainly when driving a car and your character will get stuck in place when you go like near a wall so it takes a bit to get unstuck. I did have 2 situations where the game stopped/had an error and exited out the game. I don't mind the graphics of the game maybe it's because of the time period era, but the missions does get a bit repetitive especially when you're at the homicide cases. Also, you might get into a lot of car accidents like me. I thought it was just me being a bad driver but someone said it's because of the driving mechanics in the game. When you're solving cases it really doesnt make a difference in the game if you arrested the wrong person. This is something where I wished it did make a difference. Like have different endings like those interactive games (detroit become human, the quarry, etc.). Overall the game did kept me entertained although I like mafia better. Btw the studio that developed this game is defunct, so I dont think there is a chance this game will get a remake or something. It could benefit more than other games that did get remade🤷‍♀️.

I am in agreement with Xdefiant. I installed it and played for about an hour, then deleted it. Same old same old run about, get shot. Run about again and get shot again. 1/10 just because it was free………. I am firmly in the story driven camp- Days Gone, FF7 and the Uncharted series to name but a few. I don’t know if you realise, but since I have subscribed, I have tended to rely on your reviews to determine what to spend my ££ on. I was surprised at how much I ended up liking XDefiant. For a little while. Probably put 12-15 hours into it all told, and then at one point I just decided: I think I'm done with this game. I don't care to keep grinding. But for the price, if you like the Call of Duty formula of spawn, run, shoot/die, spawn again, it's a pretty decent shooter.

I thought Alone in the dark was great…the first 2-3 chapters. I thought the theme, setting and characters were really cool, and exploring the Derceto manor was very immersive. But, in the later chapters of the game, I was thrown off by the way the plot became quite childish with portals, different dimensions and nonsense. But I dont think it was a complete flop.

I had fun with Alone in the Dark. Sure, it was a little stiff & clunky in parts, but i enjoyed my time with it. AC Shadows i wouldn't include or prejudge as it isn't out yet, but i understand your & and others' issues with what has been presented thus far & by Ubisofts past practices & the need for the overpriced editions of games which usually come with everything but a physical copy of the game. I will probably pick up the standard physical version during the January sales. I think Shadows is being developed by the Odyssey team, i enjoyed it more than Valhalla, but less than Origins. I have played AC since the first & enjoyed them all to differing extents, so I am not on the hate train, but i understand why some might be. I am pretty sure despite how popular it is to hate ubisoft & what AC has become that it will still sell quite well. Silent Hill 2 i hope comes out as a competent remake with quality of life improvements & minimal tinkering with the story, Bloober team gave the Medium which was just ok, i hope we get better than that with a remake of such a great PS2 game. I hope Star Wars Outlaws is ok, if it is a little bit of uncharted in space i am all for it but with all of these i will wait for a sale next year & hopefully not feel as burned as those who preorder or pick up on day one as we all know games have a tendency to release half baked these days & require 3-6 months more in the oven. As for live service or free to play crap i give those a wide berth. It's a shame about Rocksteady, but we all saw it coming before the delay.

How can you make a list with the top 10 worst playstation games and include games that you haven't played, even games that are not even released and then say "I'm not a hater"? I understand that this is not your full-time job and I genuinely hope you make it to the point that you have enough time to just do this. But I don't think this is the kind of content that will get you there. These kind of videos are why I (and I assume a lot more people) avoid some youtubers since they have no credibility.
