Great 3700x, rtx 3070, and 32gb system. I am currently running the same specs and it does everything i need it to. Also great job getting the deals on the 3700x and 3070, i usually buy them for around $100 and $250!

Hi, great performance on the PC, you got a good deal with the trade. If you had post the PC for sale, how much would have you asked for it ?
@UltraBudgetPC
@UltraBudgetPC 3 күн бұрын
I would probably have listed it with an initial cost of $700 and looked to get at least $600. I've found that it's much harder in my area to sell systems in this performance tier than those that cost around $300-$400. It may be different in other regions, but I have a hunch that people who are willing to spend closer to $1000 on a PC are more likely to build one themselves and go that route.

not bad! I REALLY want a capture card so i can do benchmarks along with my very own pc flipping content...
@buildyourcomputer
@buildyourcomputer 3 күн бұрын
You shouldn't need a capture card to do content, just msi afterburner. (its convenient but totally not necessary)
@blindtechh
@blindtechh 3 күн бұрын
@@buildyourcomputer yeah if I have afterburner installed in pcs I built when I had it before it gets sold but I am talking about recording the benchmarking footage so I can show people how the game runs, I know it’s not necessary but I would prefer recording the gameplay or some kind of benchmarking app over the capture card through OBS rather than my phone canera pointing at the monitor.
@buildyourcomputer
@buildyourcomputer 2 күн бұрын
@@blindtechh just search "use obs for screen recording", you don't need capture or phone to record it.

First, Thank you for keeping your promise making this tutorial. (I am the one who asked you for it, but... i am on diff. account now😅) Secondly, i have i7-4790, 16gb ddr3, 512gb ssd, gtx 750ti. As per your statement, it should be... OK? but i am really concern about "windows update." but i am really want to have win11 on my system as i found a lot of benefits for student on 5th semester like me. What say you?
@01RIE01
@01RIE01 2 күн бұрын
I have a 4790k system too and with a few workarounds, W11 installed and runs fine on it. I'd say try it out when W10's support ends.

You could have had a 3700X for as little as $50 on eBay. Those Teamgroup NVMe drives are some of the slowest Gen 3 drives. Could have had a Crucial P3 of that capacity for a few dollars more, which is the fastest Gen 3 drive. I'm doing my own flip up channel but don't really have the time to make videos about it. I'm trying to get a profitable business going. I just completed two builds for sale. One with a Xeon E5-1650v3, 2060 and 32GB RAM with a 1TB P3, running Windows 11 24H2. The other is an ultra budget machine with a 3rd gen i7, 16GB RAM, a 500GB Teamgroup SSD and a Quadro K2200 running Windows 10. No point installing 11 on it because it will just brick when it goes to update to 24H2, which Windows update will happily let you do even though you'll end up with an unrecoverable mess of BSODs. If I got a deal on a ROG Strix B450, I wouldn't put it in a build to sell because people at the price point you're targeting really aren't going to care if it is a ROG Strix or Tuf Gaming. I'd put it in my own rig and flip my old MB. I've done it before. I probably wouldn't keep a bargain 4060 myself. Don't want to deal with 12VHPWR and I already have a particularly good RX6600 that gives about 94% of the performance of a 4060. The 4060 offers no VRAM advantage. Also, I have Lossless Scaling so DLSS3 is kinda pointless to me. I've run frame gen on a GTX 670. A 3700X really isn't a great match for a 3070 in 2024. A 5500 should perform better in the majority of games. I'll be finding out for sure soon because I'm going to swap my old 5500 (just upgraded my rig to a 5700X3D) with a friend who has a 3070 running on a 4600G. I can then use the 4600G in a APU only starter build. I even have a Prime B450 that might still work. Or I might just grab an Asus Tuf Gaming A520M for $90 on Amazon. I'm really liking the Asus AP201 mesh case these days. No worry about glass breaking in transit and it gives a more subtle view of your hardware. Meanwhile, ARGB can shine out from everywhere, giving the PC a kind of glow you don't really get with glass side panel cases. They are available in both white and black for around $75 with tax. It is an incredibly good value, having build quality similar to a case costing twice as much. I also like the CM Q300L but it takes forever to ship and, for builds like the ultra budget rig, you can't beat the $32 Chinesium special from War Rparrow on Amazon it is very "Fashionabel", lol. You can get it even cheaper on AliExpress but don't be surprised if you have to bend it back into shape if you order it from them.

I've never seen a 3700X close to $50 on eBay in the US but maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot🤷‍♂️

8GB VRAM Cards are definitely not holding their value anymore on the 2nd hand market. The RTX 3070 deserved to have 12GB VRAM but Nvidia will Nvidia.

Yes. I used to daily drive a 3070 Ti and recently upgraded to a 4070 Ti Super mainly just due to the limited VRAM which was bottlenecking most of the games I play in 1440p+
