I am considered to be obese as well and I've been doing these workouts pretty much everyday. I actually look forward to it. I have to pause and take a break at times but the more you do the workouts, the less difficult they become...not necessarily easy, but definitely less difficult. You can do it! Don't feel discouraged. We got this 😊💪

They mean that everyone in all other workout videos are completely in shape, super toned, thin, tall, buff, lean, etc. but these girls are still working on getting to that point so they aren’t already super thin or muscular which kinda helps show you that if they can do it so can you. When you watch super fit peoples videos you naturally make the excuse that you can’t do it because you’re not in shape like them.

I also like that at some point the black tank top girl was just "nope, cannot do that, my arms are dead" and it was not a big deal. She continued at the intensity she was capable of, and that is perfectly okay :)

Refreshingly realistic. All my other KZbin fitness classes seem to be full of 20 year old size zero supermodels. It was lovely to see some normal girls working out ☺️☺️

I'm 40 years old and I've only recently been diagnosed with Lupus which causes joint pain. On top of that I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis while dealing with a back injury from for a year now. It took a long time to get into physical therapy of which 12 weeks were wasted because she didn't know how to help me. After I was able to receive adequate PT I added Body Project videos to help get my stamina back. This particular video has worked wonders. It has strengthened the exact parts of my body that needed it the most which are my shoulders, hips and lower back. I do this now after 12 shifts at the hospital as a CNA because I find my body is already loose when I get started which helps alot. Tonight I was able to keep up better and work harder. My squats are still slow but I'm sure I'm on my way to a full recovery thanks to you. Sincerely, Forever Grateful❤ Thank you for being my saving Grace. You have know idea what you've done for me. 💐💐💐

This is exactly what I was looking for: steady low-impact cardio. I am in my early 40s now and it would be unwise to try to do what I did I my 20s (high-impact step classes, kickboxing, etc.) I like being active, cardiovascular-fit, and flexible, but it's hard to find workouts that don't include a lot of jumping and stress on knees, ankles, and hips. This was perfect, so thank you for the video and for the inclusive representation of people who exercise (not all skinny people are healthy nor are all heavier people unhealthy).

I'm 24 and just got diagnosed with IIH and so I get dizzy easily and my vision goes dark if I go up and down so these standing workouts are a blessing. With the IIH I really need to lose weight while I wait to see a neurologist. I am at 255lbs. Wish me luck everyone and hopefully I'll be back in the comments in the future to keep you updated. I've been doing those exercises for 2 weeks with my boyfriend and i'm finally being able to do the whole workout. sometimes my heart goes up to 170 bpm and I start feeling anxious so I slow down. What I love about these videos is the fact that the person instructing is always nice and makes it clear that we can pause for a moment if we need to. This channel is amazing.

This was AMAZING! I loved every minute of it: 1. I loved seeing Alex's fun side ( girl's got the groove!) 2. I loved the lady in the white top's energy 3. I loved seeing the lady in the black top keeping up with the positivity and smiling all the way through! 4. I loved that my I didn't get tired doing this work out.... Can't say the same for hubby though 😂. 5. I plan to do this workout everyday. I'm currently in the early stages of pregnancy and morning sickness has made me bed bound for weeks now. @@ilanam4485 fyi, working out alone won't make you lose any weight if you don't include a calorie deficit. Eat healthy or count calories- I've tried taking my goal weight x 10= daily calories (if you're going for 130 lbs, eat 1300 calories daily). Of course you'll go over some days and/or may need to ease your way to your goal amount but it's definitely doable. I also do fasting. You'll lose weight with dieting/fasting alone- you tone up and get healthier (and lose weight faster) by adding working out. Good luck!

@@jonihocker6425 Agree. I lost 15 lb in 3 months. In first 2 months, I adjusted my diet, less starch, more dietary tissue, less oily food, walking 10000 steps per day. Weight reduced but not the fat. My cholesterol level keeps high. Then, I have to add exercises which I am reluctant to do. Tried rope skipping and jogging, etc. and finally searched "30 mins workout" in google and found videos from Body Project for beginners. I am so glad to find myself able to follow them. I just started 10 days ago, plan to do 3 times a week but currently I do workout almost every night before sleep. I turn myself from hate sweating to like sweating. Hope everyone here start your health plan with Body Project and able to keep on doing.

You saved my life. I had to give up my rigorous flow yoga practice because the inversions were bad on my eyes and chaturanga ended up being bad on the arms and neck. Switched to trampoline, which caused knee problems. One day you just popped up on my KZbin and this workout is perfect for me. Body project has really changed my life I have RA and diastolic heart-failure. I have never liked exercising but after finding this channel I love how this uses real people and all levels. The ability for me to work all body parts with in 45 minutes or shorter is perfect for me. Keep posting videos you all are changing lives. By the way I am 47 and enjoying exercise for the first time.

This is the video where I have fallen in love with Alex as an instructor!! ♡♡♡ Those outtakes at the beginning - I'm so glad they were left in! They made me laugh, and paired with her on point instruction - GOLD. :) This was a pure cardio video for me. So fun! And so simple. Day 46 of daily workouts! Thanks for this session, Alex! This is one that I started with way back on Day 2. I was able to get through all of it but I needed lots of breaks and I was huffing and puffing by the end. Today, this was the exact workout I needed. This is a great workout. It's perfect for my wife and me. You should call this the Shoulder Burn workout! :) Also, when you say "quads are on fire, right now".....for us it's "knees are on fire!" After a knee surgery and 57 years of grinding the knee........I can't maintain the form needed to burn the quads.......but the knees........! Everytime we go looking for a new video we keep coming back to this one. Thanks for it!!

TEAMBODYPROJECT is truly magic! I never looked forward to working out as much I do now. I’d tried several workout challenge but couldn’t really keep up because it was too much for a overweight person like me. But I don’t even realise how the 30 mins pass with them! Tried this video yesterday after swimming from the beginner videos, and absolutely love it! I’ve also got sore love handles but I’m gonna do it!!!!!! Also lost 11 pounds in a month along with healthy eating! Thankyouuu!

Amazing workout, I did this around my PMS where I didn't want to do heavy and high impact workouts but wanted to get some movement. Great for active recovery as well as on days when you don't feel like moving at all. This is surprisingly amazing and it utilizes and stretches all the body muscles. Loved it!

I say a bad word to Tasha when she starts jumping around 5:48. Nothing personal, Tasha! But JEEZE, wow, no way could I do that. I am 65 years old, in relatively ok shape but not active enough since retiring. I started this routine about 4 weeks ago, I do it about 4-5 times a week interspersed with especially long walks with our dogs on the other days. I love it. It's short, but enough for me to break a sweat and feel like I've DONE SOMETHING. I used to do the 1/2 jacks at a much slower pace, but now I can keep up. Going to Japan with my husband in two weeks and this will help with my overall stamina, balance & strength. THANKS!

It took me so long to find a proper low impact cardio, I really enjoyed this ..I had weight loss surgery that never really worked I was at the gym all the time before covid and all gyms are still closed thats 9 motions I put on weight I have a long way to go I love the fact you have different body shapes its refreshing, I have back issues so maybe more instruction about over using lower back I have seatica I'm 47 from Glasgow..love the tutor keep up the good work for us bigger ladies xx

I just did this routine! I amazed myself that I was able to complete the whole thing! I love this one! I have been struggling to loose the last 30 pounds and thought I needed a more active low-impact aerobic workout! I am going to keep at these body project workouts!! I have 3 saved! This has been great! I struggle with psoriatic arthritis, and haven’t been able to find workouts that still make me feel like I pushed myself without hurting my joints. Your low impact workouts have given me that!! Thank you! ❤️

I love these exercises, I love the music in the video. I enjoyed the movements. I felt like I was dancing instead of exercising ... and this is thanks to the trainer's movements and her encouragement to exerciseThe trainer is really excellent. They make exercises one way or another as if they are similar to dancing, which makes exercises fun and not boring

Ive been doing this twice a week for 3 weeks along side pilates once a week- I can now keep my arms up whenever needed and I actually end up working harder (acording to my fitbit) but it feels easier! Amazing. Thank you.

:-) started in 2021 with lock down due to covid,not a rookie, not out of shape, 45 years of intense exercise and competition will always help. Combined TBP, with Yoga and Pilates, low impact . You guys Rock! the choice of exercises,is very good even for beginners, regardless of age. Will always recomend TBP.

I appreciate them thinking of those of us who can’t do all those jumping squatting lunges etc. You can get a good workout with doing more damage to my knees and all that unnecessary jumping. I love TBP
