Yes. Excellent idea. We can treat anaemia if we use this as supplement. Also include spinach and gooseberry for better absorption. Vitamin C acts as vehicle iron. There are other benefits too. Of course you can. As mentioned, this beetroot powder will not change the taste of any cream, gravy etc. you can use this in anything you like. You don't need any food colour gel.

You can use it in cake batter but in frosting you should always use gel colors. So don't use it in frosting.
