I haven't trained karate for over 25yrs and finally I started at home again as a cardio training thanks to this challange. Haven't completed in one session yet, but I've done all the exercises already. Cool set. Thank you for sharing this.

I followed along. I feel like I just learned how to breathe for the first time in my life. And that's probably the most important skill a human can learn. It was a very powerful form of meditaiton. Oss!

Did you finish it?
@sleep19373 жыл бұрын
@@sogekingu5514 Yes. After the first 200 I had a stitch in my side and realized I wasn't breathing correctly, so I started paying more attention to the breath, and it certainly did the trick.

Oss . thank you very much for the inspiration and guidance ... I have done sessions of 1000 tsuki whilst training with the Swiss Shotokan Karate - Oshima ha...After a certain point training becomes and is only mental and nothing less .Surprisingly ..the most tired you become and getting slower , the most perfect is the execution ....its like the body resistance and its negativity fades and it is the mind controlling thereafter.

Excellent list. I think I will attempt a modified form for my karate. I'm thinking half without punches, without arm to practice hip-stance connection. Then the other half with the arm hoping I do not start punching with the shoulders! Also, it helps with Oi Zuki to, not just step, but squeeze with the inner thigh muscles. When you get old, the inner thigh sqeeze is important with moves 58 & 59 in Kanku Dai - when aged, things hurt if you do it too easy.
@sramdeojohn44283 жыл бұрын
Excellent training programme... Patience strength and brings attitude towards the light. Note: when making stepping forwards or backwards in front stand and straight punch, (most try to cheat the process cause of the pain, pain is good but don't injury the muscles. Just push until the pain is enough to hurt a little then stop. Take time to relax the muscles. Strengthen the body takes patience and time. ) try to keep the same height throughout. Only resume to normal standing height when finished. This build strong legs and solid foundation in the stands. Relax and breathe. Take time to get the body to control the breathing, for some, it make take long to reset during the executions of various sets. 🙌👏🙌👏✌️ I remember my sensi was real old fashion...this brings back lots of memories. 😇😇😇
