jimins lyrics in tony Montana are actually really deep and important. he talks about his own experience you should look at the lyrics for his part too !! :) as someone who always heard people talk bad about careers in art or entertainment fields it felt empowering hearing his thoughts on it like its short but powerful. especially since we normally only hear rap line go at their haters like that besides older ot7 songs from their early days.

Hi Chalfant. Good to see your reaction. Don't forget that the mixtapes, especially the first ones, were very personal projects (almost therapeutic) that they realized alone from A to Z and that they put for free on Soundcloud without any promotion or physical version. 140503 refers to the date May 3, 2014- however, nothing particularly significant happened this day. This is because the song is a reflection of the everyday thoughts that occupy Agust D’s brain. Dawn marks the beginning of a day, and so "140503 At Dawn" is a representation of what Agust D starts his days contemplating. As you know, Antonio ‘Tony’ Montana is a fictional character and the protagonist of the 1983 film Scarface. He is commonly referenced in hip-hop music because of his reputation as an immensely successful gangster, so Agust D draws parallels between himself and Montana due to his own newfound wealth as an idol, followed by everyone blaming his success for their failure. In the music video of “Daechwita” released along with Agust D second mixtape “D-2”, we can see Agust D with a scar on his face which could be linked to this song. And about the Interlude "Dream Reality", the track continues Agust D’s first mixtape’s theme of finding and following your dream. Suga and his group BTS have debuted with the album “2 COOL 4 SKOOL” and it’s lead single: “No More Dream”, In which they have conveyed the same message. The track is well produced as it has a powerful back vocals and a touching, dramatical instrumental. Thank you Chalfant, I'll be there tomorrow.

Jimin shi can definitely rap if he wants. In fact I think I remember watching a clip of him saying they kept trying to make him rap in his trainee days but he wanted to be a singer. I prefer his beautiful singing, but he kills rap too. Are you also reacting to D2? That is my ultimate fav mixtape from Yoongi. There is only one song I don't like on it and that's because he purposefully set out to make it creepy and creepy is not my vibe. 🤣
