Just found your channel and appreciate the message your tryna put out, a weird question do you think your bench is your best or one of your best movements? Idk if it’s just me but I thought that your bench was just such a huge number compared to other exercises?

Thank you bro that means a lot to me. My bench is by far my best movement because I train and enjoy it a lot more than the squat and deadlift so yes I can almost bench my squat 💀💀

@ gotcha I can’t lie I’m the same was just interested seeing as I can match you on some movements but then your bench is 40kg heavier than mine. Guess that shows what happens when you don’t program it for a year

Yeah it was about a year ago when I started benching 3 times a week and my bench has flew up since then. The more you do something the better you’ll get. That is also why some of my other movements have lacked progression because I’ve been prioritising bench but that’s a trade off I can accept

@Ben-Saunders fuck me three times a week? Damn props for fitting that in your schedule. Plus your your body weight that’s a crazy lift how soon you do reckon you’ll hit 2x BW bench at some point? Or will you prioritise bodybuilding prep next year?

I train 5 days a week so train bench Monday Wednesday and Friday and that worked really well for me. I do really want to hit that 2x whilst on this bulk but that’s 132kg I don’t think I’ll be able to hit that this year so it may have to wait until after I do a show.
