Gina, if you store your materials upside down, with the cap at the bottom (tightly sealed, of course!) they will be airtight and less likely to clump.

The best part of this video was saying you eyeball your recipes because you’re Italian! LOL! I’m Italian and use my eyes to measure too! I’ve been pouring for about 2 months while recovering from open heart surgery to replace my Aortic Valve. Now I’m hooked on this! Can’t get enough! Doing great! Ready to try a craft show next month. I’m using canvas but also wood, record albums and frisbees ( both becoming wall clocks) . Take care and hugs from one Paisana to another!

Once it's dry, I wash the painting with Dawn to remove the silicone. Then dry completely (another couple of weeks) before varnish or clear-cote or lacquer is added. Not washing it can result in "orange peel" texture as the silicone fights with the sealer.

Thank you for making this video Gina! Truly appreciate it. Feel like I’ve got a foundation to start building on now from watching this. Your teaching style engaged me and clicked well in my brain while at a pace that allowed me time to take notes. Looking forward to watching more of your vides. Thank you again so much. Sincerely! :)

This is super gorgeous. It almost has a Fibonacci Spiral look. I'm so glad you didn't pour off the pinks and blues on the edge. I see some artists tilt so far that so many interesting things just run off the canvas and I audibly gasp lol. Great job! Also extremely helpful tips and advice for us noobs! Thanks!

Thank you for this great tutorial! Before watching it, all of my attempts looked like mud. Last night, I tried, utilizing everything you shared in this video. My first ever successful pour... it's really pretty *except I tried it on a scrap sheet of styrofoam. Thank you for this fantastic tutorial. I appreciate your sense of humor & am now subscribed. :)

OMG! When you said "I'm Italian, I eye everything". I laughed so hard cause it's true! I "eye" the paint amount when I pour and 95 percent of the time I get it good. Love watching your pours! Much inspiration!! Thank you!!
