physics in action. glass has surpisingly good shock deformation characteristics. that is provided it has room to expand and do all sorts of crazy things. part of the shock wave goes through the marble directly compressing the marble trying to make it fatter. another part goes around the surface of the marble compressing it in a different direction inward to the center keeping it skinny. as long the waves are mostly equal its ok. stop the waves and it goes boom. the gummy bear absorbed the waves- marble went boom. the nokia is a mystery. the metal plate redirected the wave and it went boom. glass marbles are pretty tough little things.

Thank you so much for uploading this guys. I'm a subscriber from Venezuela. This brings me bad memories from the protests from 2014 and 2017 against the dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro. The national guard used this nasty trick with the marbels against us protesters, they loaded marbels in the riot loads (rubber or plastic bb's) and shot them with no mercy. I remember very well when I saw a national guard officer take aim at where I was with an SPAS 12, then I heard the shot, and then hearing a whistle (the marble) then it hit a guy that was right next to me in his leg, it was a very nasty wound, it penetrated probably about 2 inches, didn't go all the way trough (I think because it was shot from a moderately long distance, about 80 meters) lucky for him the marbel didn't break and it didn't hit any vital areas like the femoral artery. Trust me, this is something you don't want to be shot with.

Ja Z The single marble loads were mild. Two and three marbles felt like a dove load. 🇺🇸😎

Danny AKA Triker Red : Thanks, I didn't see the shotgun flinch a inch with the single marble. I have absolutely no need to load one, but I'm going to. LOL

Interesting because a standard glass ball in say military grade wrist/forearm rocket is lethal as well. Love the 12 ga, too and yer fun vids.

if you ever need or want to make a slightly risky camera shot without possibly breaking the camera than just set up a mirror on am angle and have the camera shoot into the mirror

Then we'd have 7 years of bad luck!

well you don't have to shoot the mirror, just put it where you think a good shot would be from and ahve the camera point into it lol, awesome vids btw

This was fun to watch. I used to use marbles in my black widow sling shot. They would turn terracotta pots to dust.

Hmm, marbles. I think I'm going to start making my own loads that way.

Are you planning on doing any distance tests on different ammo?
