1. Never leave what your childhood self adored. 2. Never light yourself on fire to keep others warm. 3. Clearly identify your idea of success. 4. Never talk shit, or associate with people who do. 5. Treat yourself like a plant. 6. If you compare, do it right or don't do it at all. 7. Never make a permanent decision based on a temporary emotion. 8. When you're doing good, you're not doing as good as you think you are. And when you're doing bad, you're not doing as bad as you think you are. 9. Value as many things within your control. 10. Care more for how your success is achieved, rather than the success itself. 11. Always remember why you started. 12. A tree's roots must reach hell before the leaves reach heaven. 13. I’m 14, and recently all these ‘gurus’ on the Internet who say people like me should be making money has really gotten to me. I thought I wanted to only focus on making that money and spending no time playing games with my friends or going out. But recently I have shifted from hopelessly searching for money too working out, to playing games at a healthy amount with my friends. And my mood has been up. Your 13th point of just enjoying youth is so valuable. And on the Internet now no one will tell you that. You are doing gods work bro.

*Don't light yourself on fire to keep others warm!* That is one of my favourite quotes! I used it in a book I was writing once. I related to it way too much at the time. I'd referred to it like I was drowning inside just to make everyone else around me happy or smile. And it made me feel horrible. I ended up learning to push through it and change my ways through balance. If it felt fake, I'd try to push back from it. And if I knew it made me feel good and was real, I knew it was the right thing to do. I love quote number 12! ❤ (Sorry if I'm rambling)

Don’t overdue it to the point of being a a bad person but just when you go into something go into it with a confidence or mindset that this won’t be so bad or this might even be easy. I promise this mindset will set you up for success. It helps get rid of lingering doubts while still keeping them there but more of an after thought than an overwhelming presence.

Everything you've said in the video was a piece of some good damn advice. I'm an artist with around 4 years of experience. I started drawing, as I've thought it would be really cool to be able to draw like others do! I tend to compare myself to other artists, sometimes trying to learn from them and sometimes demotivating myself because of much of a difference there is between their and mine skills. For the last couple of days, I've been working almost non-stop on a project I don't find as fun as I used to and prioritizing it over playing with my homie. Several months ago, I've went through a hard break-up with someone I truly felt like I couldn't love more. After watching this, I've found motivation to study art, I'll remember keep having fun while drawing & to not burn myself out as well as found found hope, that my partner is still out there, waiting for us to meet. Find this as corny as y'all want, but this man speaks real shit.

It's nothing wrong about them, but it would be great to really consider are those truly what you desire. Recently, I've been thinking and reconsidering what kinda life I want to live in. For now, all I want is to be with my family and be able to learn new things everyday. "Not an amazing life someone else wants you to live in"

Man like idk why or how but he is an amazing guy (no homo) like hes so postive kind of like an idol for me ngl, there are many selfimprovement KZbinrs who dont rllly talk or say what i rlly need like one example ,,Just relax and enjoy your youth", like i think i never heard someone saying this except him, thats why im thankful for god to have met this guy. Congrats on 750k subs, you deserve a million and more.

I’m 14, but I found you when I was 13. I am so lucky to have found your videos man. I can’t believe how much I relate to you. I went through addiction, loss, and overthinking just like you did. You’ve helped me and many others so much man. Never stop these, they help so much. Love ya bro 👍👊

Bro this completely changed my mindset. I used to hate everything about me but when you said everything here I realised that I had to enjoy everything bad or good. 🙏🏻

holy shit man was this useful. i'm 15 at the end of the month and it sort of reminded me of a lot of bad habits i have that are just pointless in the big picture. my life is going by super fast and i should value it. thanks Jak mate. your videos have done a lot for me.

Turning 15 soon, recently purchased minecraft, like.. two days ago. I try not to watch you as often because i prefer to avoid getting emotional thanks to ADHD, but you have this friendly pull, and you make me think, you make me contemplate. And while i don't like doing that, you make me do it, and so.. thank you. Very much.
