Also, no mention of VDP nuances on NP approach, transitioning from en-route or STAR, and feeder routes. Best explanation of "established" I have seen. Thanks Great video. Great job explaining. Thanks. I have a question mark that maybe is not letting me be more precise on my approaches. Your examples from Gilde IAF to RVR, RW 27, non-precision approach shows rapid descent to the minima. Precision approaches straight angle line down. Well, my concerns that made me bust my minima several times is that the profile view shows a line of an angle descent down to MAP. I thought I only had to cross the fix no lower than the altitude minimum described. So, in other words, I have been afraid to go below the angle line on the profile view because there could be an obstacle under it. It seems that I could descend without worries. How do I know there is no obstacles under my descent path from the IAF to MAP, so I could made the rapid descent and be at the minima a little before to i\ensure I would cross it at the proper altitude? I appreciate it.

Good video, bu one thing, LPV is NOT a precision approach. Instead, it is an approach with vertical guidance. Also, I think it is a bit confusing when in the beginning you are discussing an ILS system while showing an RNAV approach plate.
@johnfitzpatrick24693 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial, thankyou. 🌏🇦🇺
@MrKapeji5 жыл бұрын
If you are using an RNAV approach how are the ILS needles activated? I mean some airports have RNAV approaches while also having an ILS system, so you can tune the NAV1 to the ILS and use the needles, but if the airport does not have an ILS system, or a Localizer, then the needles will surely be dead?
@vk11266 жыл бұрын
LPV is not a precision approach. It's a non precision with vertical guidance.
