Bonus! Additional show. They need to put those bars closer together to keep you out!! Wow Frank were your roots getting dry out in the desert, or were you just cleaning the dust out of your boots. It was very sketchy getting in that adit. I know the mine wasn’t as big as some but it was a cool find and really interesting to just have a nosy inside. It was lovely to see all that lush greenery and mountain backdrop too. The artefacts you found in the miners’ cabin were cool. I thought the glass washboard was mint and the other item reminds me of something we call a dolly which was used to pummel and agitate the clothes in the tub. Thank you Frank and Happy New Year to you. Take care and be safe. ❤️👍 👍

Wondering, is that water potable. This adit, enter at your own risk! This adit was a short trip. Those skip cars, would they make like a toboggan in the winter, ha ha ha. That wash board sure brought back some childhood memories. Chinese laundry, this is not the first time you made me laugh. Take that stroll, relax your pace, you'll be glad you did.

Excellent video! In the 1960's we used to look for antique bottles in that area & we came away with many 1,000's. 5 of us hiked up to the K&S rail grade and we even made it to Payne Bluff which we traversed by walking on 2 rails that were suspended in air over what looked like a 2,000 foot sheer drop off. Just the metal rails, nothing else. I was afraid of heights at that time so this was not a pleasant experience for me. I was only 8 years old.

Those workings looked pretty old. Really beautiful area. The adits weren't too good but some cool artifacts and even that old rail line. Cool old cabin. Not bad shape either. The easy to get into mines get a lot of visitors and not much for artifacts. As we are getting farther down into shafts with ropes there is a lot more stuff left behind.

%100 agreed. There's something about all that water running through the mines that adds to the atmosphere in Franks videos. And to be honest, Frank going solo is what I am more interested in and he get's to do that more in BC.

I've been enjoying your videos. There should be a few abandoned mines here in Colorado. In Illinois my home town is surrounded by coal mines. I know those are are not mined anymore and flooded underground. I know there some places that are settling. One example is a road going into town that is lowering.

26:00 the overhead shot really gives you the full effect of how little regard miners have for the environment. No effort has been made, to even allow nature to reclaim the land, now covered in tailings, barren.

Pronghorn Schlichting = Cliff King! I know to expect it by now, but it still gives me cybervertigo when u zoom out from atop a little waste-rock pile to reveal "we've" actually been perched thousands of feet above sheer rockface & treeline; so high the river below resembles a thin, sparkling ribbon of water no wider than a drainage ditch wending it's way thru deep evergreen forest.
