Hi Val, you are looking great . Just wanna respectfully share something with you. I recently join Noom. I'm learning that there is a lot of science showing that starvation diet is not the recommended way to go. It only makes you crave more food, and your body goes into crisis mode--holding on to body fat that you want to desperately want to lose. I've tried the scientific way, and it really works. My appetite gradually shrunk and I'm losing slowly. Slowly is the recommended way to go. Because you will keep it off. Now I'm eating less, and get saturated easily. Most importantly I'm not craving food like I used to do. I'm supporting you in ur weight loss journey.

Wow that's a challenge, I fast between 10am-6pm I'm on a vegetarian challenge I'm on week 3. So far so good. Good luck hun 💖

The longest water fast I’ve accomplished was 7 days, could have gone longer. My hunger went away after day 3 but the first 3 days was the most challenging while my body was detoxing. Fasting is so beneficial . Good luck. 🍀 Also, some KZbinrs would record their journey and their supporters got worried and sent people to do a wellness checks on them.

What kind of water additives are you using..cell food? Bio salts?

I add a little Himalayan sea salt to my water. I also ensure that my electrolytes are not depleted by taking my daily amounts of Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium. The combination of the 3 helps with preventing cramps that come with prolonged fasting.

When I was 24/25 I water fasted for 21 days and I tell you I felt Amazing!!!.. I was a pecetarian at the time.. You Got This!! ❤

I won't try this often, but I've done short fasts in the past, and I had amazing energy after they were over. My body needs a reset. I just need my mind and my stomach to cooperate. LOL!!

The Comment: I'm enjoying your channel & sense of humor SOOO MUCH so *pls take my comment as one done with ALL DUE RESPECT:* 🔹Pls get some Ginger Powder & OR Peppermint to mix with your water, which staves off GAS & hunger pains. 🔹100% Coconut Water has NATURAL Electrolytes & was used in WWII as a substitute for a drip. 🔹Get a nice Waist Trainer for the OPENING so you can look like an "8" beside hubby SO YOU WONT BE a "10" but an "18" 😂 🔹 PLS Pray Scriptures on God's ability eg I can do all things... Although I’ve done a lot of studying on fasting, and speaking with my doctor, you have some really great advice here, which I will revisit. I admire the person that lasted 40 days, as that’s not going to be my story, because right now I feel like I will fight someone to just lick a piece of beacon. 😩 But, I’m determined, and I know most of it is mental, so I’m holding on for now.

Look forward to seeing/viewing the grand opening of the Clay restaurant. If I lived in that area I would patronize & support u. What are ur specialty dishes or what will b the main focus of the restaurant, veggies, barbecue, brisket, pasta etc. what ever it is, I am sure it will b 'YUMMIE'

Omg I can't imagine fasting that long. Personally, I've never fasted for more than 18 hours. I would would consider it a huge accomplishment if I could go 24 hours with no food LOL

Hello there . Best wishes to you on your Journey. I fasted on Sunday For the first time in years. I felt completely rejuvenated on Monday.I do intermittent fasting Monday through Friday. Best to you ! 😊

I absolutely agree with you that we eat out of habit. My body has been conditioned to eating one meal and a green smoothie each day. Some days, I cannot reach the smoothie. Praying for a successful journey.

Good to have you back Val and I’ve just started to do a combination of things because of my personal situation. I’m using ACV with the Mother in my water and It really helps with feeling full and my sugar cravings. I’m also doing IF intermittent fasting. I was surprised that I could get through the workout first thing in the morning @ 6am while doing the IF. I’ve never been a disciplined trainer but it is a goal of mine. You are an inspiration and we appreciate that you keep it💯 We’re doing what works. I’m also cleaning up the diet. Small gains but I’ll take it💪🏾. Looking forward to your next update. 😉

Years ago… I used to fast on water. Usually no longer than a week. The longest was on juices for an entire month. What I didn’t do was exercise. It was too stressful on my body. I’ll be watching to see how this works out.

The only significance is that while caring for my daughter and grandson, I took 18 days off of my diet/health journey and ate tons of carbs during those 18 days. So I’ve added those days to my diet.

Do you have a preplanned method for handling bowel movement or the lack of bowel movement. If you don’t, I encourage you to do some research, if this is your first time going on a water fast for such an extended amount of time. Because of water fast can put you to bed.

What should a person do if they take prescribed meds daily?

The best advice I can give you is to speak with your doctor. Some meds require you to eat food prior to taking them. I've been blessed that I'm not currently on any meds, so that was not an issue for me.
