The norwegian costal services used those locks on the small lighthouses and the parafin storage houses. My family was watching over one of them until it got battery power.

trio and ving bought up rosenvinge and fusjon in to trio-ving. That lock is prior 1971 it seems.
@Ponduzn3 жыл бұрын
the trioving version of this padlock is much harder to pick, also with security pins if im not mistaken, feels like spools, i got one of them, only picked it once in around 100 attempts. Im by no means a experienced picker though.

I am new to locksport. I have a dozen padlocks so far, most of which I bought at antique/thrift shops. I find that I'm drawn to the older locks. I love the patina on them. I would love to add this vintage lock to my small and growing collection. Thank you for all you do BB.

I love your technique (well, I learned it here anyway) of raking into a false set then pick the rest. I have a couple of locks I can reliably open that way but which are total pains to just SPP. When a lock opens to my rake I just call it a win and put down my SPP tools.

Lovely lock that, unusual shape, probably meant to save on the brass in the body, and an unusual placement as well. Old yes, but took longer to pick than the new locks, and has stood up well.

I am a recent follower of the channel. Could you make a video about all the different kinds of locks and what tools you need to pick them? I hear a ton of names like wafer locks and tubular locks and think there are a lore of them i don’t know, but don’t know the differences yet.
