Mine was a 1960 Buick LeSabre 2 door hardtop. Midnight blue. A beautiful car.

Cars in that era really made a statement. Neighbors would gather to adore someone's new purchase after pulling into the driveway. No one cares today to see a new generic vehicle.

Yep, agreed 100%, in my neighborhood, anytime a new car came in, everyone was checking it out.......I remember my Mom being furious at our neighbor (Mr. Warner) when he called our new VW Westfallia a "Gypsy Wagon". Oh, she was mad, she thought it was insulting my father's Hungarian Ethnicity in front of the other neighbors that came to check it out too.

Back in the 50’s and 60’s they changed the styling every year. I thought the 1957 was the greatest. The Roadmaster with those 4 port holes was something else again. One of my goals was to own a Buick someday but ended up buying an Olds Delta 88 in 1978 and it was a great ca4
