You were shooting some high pressure there! That's the old school way of getting the paint to lay down flat without Orange peel! Nice! Now how do I get overspray off my glasses! LOL!!!!!!!

Fantastic job of body work and painting. May want to get a tighter fitting shirt to make sure it does not drag on the hood surface--but looks like you made it anyway. No doubt that truck will be showroom quality when you are finished. Glad wifeie could help our some. She did a nice job of camera work as well. Thanks for your video's.

On a 64, the lightning bolt would be original from what I remember. 61-64 all received the lightning bolt hood emblem, both inline 6s and V8s. The V8 emblem started in 65 and was only for 65-66 trucks with the FE 352 V8.

It's looking good. I had a 1961 F100 short bed unibody with the 292 and I really loved that old truck. I had to sell it when I went into the army. Sure wish I still had it!

The Thunder gear emblem on the front of your hood is correct.... I had a 64 F-250 that my grandfather bought new that was all origanal with the same emblem and it was powered by a 292 Y- block... 65 the V-8 emblem came into use

Trade that old school paint gun in on a new HVLP gun. You will use half the paint and avoid painting the neighborhood.

I think I had it at about 35-40 psi!! Luckily the paint was dry enough the shirt didn't cause any issues!!☺
