1968 International 1100 - First Look

It is time to move on to another project... except this one that I found seems to be in pretty good shape. 1968 International

Back in the day leftover prior year vehicles were retitled as current year model that's why your truck is registered as a '68 the regular '68 model had little front marker lights and series badge was moved to front of fender around it, regardless it's a nice old Binder so drive and enjoy, I don't know where you live but I have a couple of those Holley carburetors like yours have

My vote is for wheels and tires, no paint. Spend the effort on the interior so you have comfort - and enjoy the journey. tHanks for the video

Nice truck. I have a 67 1100 4x4. The gas tank was originally located under the passenger side floor and extending back under the box. The front end of your truck is actually a 67. The 68 would have a larger headlight trim surround that touches the sides of the grill. I have heard IH trucks were titled for the year they sold instead of the manufacturer model year, so that would explain why yours would be titled as a 68. I'd get it right mechanically and tidy up the interior. The exterior has a story to tell and is perfect the way it is. Looking forward to seeing more videos on your progress.

Registration says its a 1968 all wires for fuel gage are still there wonder how hard finding right tank would be

I have a 67 too 6 cylinder 4 speed don't look anything like this one. Mines a stepside. My master cylinder is way different, clutch & brakes are same reservoir. My fuel intake is on bedside not the cab
