Never seen one with a series 2 steering wheel before but it suits it , lovely example ❤

Lovely car, just imagine, when this was new the people owning it would go out in there finery, no 24/7 gym wear, trainers, crocks or yoga pants. Better times I was just leaving school.

This is certainly a goo looking car, and price estimated well. Very tempting to put in a bid (but what would I do with two Bentleys?).

It has Rolls Royce on the valve cover is that correct? for a Bentley ?.

At the time that this car was built, Rolls-Royce (the parent company of Bentley) was trying to run the Bentley brand down, but against fierce opposition from determined Bentley owners/customers. So, they didn't waste any money changing badges on the engine, which would generally only be seen by the owner's Mechanic. Later, after a change of management, R-R realised the value of the Bentley marque, and introduced the Turbo-R and Continental R models, which were the first that moved away from simple 'Badge Engineering'. With those models, the engines were marked with 'Bentley'.

@@berwhaletheavenger It could have come out of the factory that way, or the original speedo may have been changed, which isn't that uncommon. Always best to go through the history.

My 1975 Bentley has RR covers too, not at all uncommon.

My Bentley T1 1970 the rocker covers have Rolls-Royce. I would like to try and buy Bentley covers.
