Im 65 so I was 15 when this came out. I thought . . . . Bowie wrote those songs for me. It must have been the acid. On my second run at Sobriety, 20 + years. ahead of their time. Trail blazers.

David Bowie was my hero. The words to his epic songs are so poetic, very talented with words.
@lwooldridge0693 ай бұрын
He used William Burroughs Method of Randomness by taking a book, cutting up the words separately and placing them in a hat and pulling one by one the words and constructing his lyrics, I read this was how moon age daydream was constructed.

When I got married in 2009 our wedding dance was to 'Heroes'. I had seen David live many times throughout my life, I'm 62 now. However on my daughter's first birthday I woke up to the tragedy that David Bowie had gone. My wee daughter's birthday and my hero passes on that very day. I'm blessed to have seen Bowie in his prime and to have a beautiful daughter, both of whom, for different reasons were and are a huge part of my life.

Feeling lost and alone I followed the sound of singing as I listened to it I realized I knew the song, it was some Classic Rock that my heart treated like a hymn, the night seemed safer as I got nearer to the singer, I tripped over a root and was planted face first into the field there was an abrupt stop to the music and when I looked up I saw a face as pale as the full moon and he offered me his hand,
