I remember when those were new. While there were issues with the engineering, the car is one of the most beautiful of any GM's offerings. I had a friend who had one of these which had continual quality issues, but when it ran, it was stunning. Thanks for sharing, Lou!

Great video. I have a 70 Cyclone. There is a small group of 4 Cyclone owners within about a 50 mile area here. We enjoy getting together and going to car shows together. It's great to hear the comments about never seeing four 70/71 Cyclones in one place. One of the 4 is a girl. Her car was her dad's that he bought new. Her father has passed and she takes great pride in showing her dad's 71 Cyclone. It's great to see women getting involved in the classic car hobby. They are just as passionate as us. I think sometimes they are even more passionate. I LOVE it, "no messing with Dawn".

A true beauty, this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC-Z in White! As I mentioned in the previous video, this is one of the generational designs that I like the most of the Camaro (from 1982 to 1992). I was desperate for you to show the front; until at minute 8:19, finally, you could see its slender and long hood, along with its black grilles, ending in that characteristic wedge shape with its double square headlights outlined in black! Of course the rear part is not far behind, with that large cabin that is part of the trunk lid, its curved spoiler and its beautiful, large squared rear guides. Magnificent interior color combination, with its red upholstered seats and carpets, and its simple, but beautiful, black instrument panel with that characteristic 80's design. I loved the well-preserved collection of manuals and brochures in the trunk. Although its 5.7-liter V8 engine sounded quite smooth, when its owner revved it, its chrome exhaust pipes roared with pleasure! Finally, the final drive on the highway was excellent, on a beautiful sunny day with the roof open... apart from the look on your face when they passed the Challenger! Ha ha. Oh, by the way, I don't know if you noticed it, but in the last shot, when the vehicle passes by, a rather curious effect was produced, since the five-pointed rings seem to move as if in frame by frame! Congratulations to its owner, Dawn! Best regards, Lou!

Will never forget when this generation Camaro came to market ( finally! ) and the just released Z/28 almost exactly like this one but two tone brown in color I believe was parked on a curb and WOW I stood there in awe, I was still driving my '68 Camaro but this new one knocked me off my socks. While some people remember clearly their first date or the moon landing, I remember the 3rd gen Z/28 in its new glory. This example courtesy of Lou and Dawn is just as nice, thank you, and I am a big fan. Thank you Dawn and Lou.

T-tops were wonderful. Loved mine on my '81 z28, though I had more room inthe trunk when my tops were stowed away, I was surprised how shallow thie trunk was here. But man alive when driving a Camaro, it just felt wonderful. This is a beautiful car. Back in the day we would see a lot of them. This is a really good example. Love the IROC-Z. Good color combination here too. The best part....is the rumble of the engine! That will never, ever get old!! The horsepower rating is 240.

Hey big bro Lou!! Oh boy! What a B-B-B-B-BANGER, man!! What a BANGER courtesy of ol' Dawn there, man. She is awesome. And so is this IROC-Z. This is a car from my youth, Lou. And these were for the big Varsity football guys in my highschool. The pretty boy lightweight JV baseball (and Robin-like) guys like me would more be behind the wheel of a Berlinetta lol 🤣🤪. So my reaction to this super hot IROC? POW! KNOCKOUT. And ol' JV's floppy boys are fired off his tubesocked baseball stockinged feet as I fall forward, completely knocked out once again lol 😜. You catch my floppy sneakers like the champ you are and simultaneously bend forward to have me fall over your shoulder easily, my stocking feet 'n calves limply dangling, like the protective big bro you also are 🤣. Could you see that, Lou? The visceral reaction of a car and chick crazy JV baseball guy. The way you highlight a car and the meaning and story it has to it's owner is always inspiring, big bro. Mega fun. Thanks Lou! JV Johnny ⚾⚾

Everyone has their own taste; for me the tape stripes and all of that are just juvenile. Same for excessive power; I've driven 1000 miles in a day in several of my cars. I wonder whether this Camaro could do that? I have a friend who had the 'normal' Camaro who loved taking Texas-length trips in his. And it's such a beautiful GT!
