@@videorowtv5198 I thought about it, but although you can make them rubber, there's still the plastic, and that material will wear quite often. It's unfortunate, but if a new RX-7 came out today, it'll have Re amemiya style headlights

@@videorowtv5198 I dont know what you wrote there but the whole pop ups are completely banned due to safety. If you buy for example a car and make a custom pop ups you probably wont gonna pass inspection, but it all depends on your country if they let custom headlights or no. But If you passed first and then applied custom made pop ups, you can drive but at the same time you would be braking a law cause you would be driving a car that isn't safe for the streets. In the end it all boils down to police, if your country is cool and all you would be driving scotts free until some accident happens then your ass is toast.

I get what your going for but those curves were what made the rx7 so special. I think flattening everything out makes it look much more generic.

I love, love, LOVE how you kept the RX7 mostly the same, and just focused on adjusted a few things and modernizing only the specific pieces that actually needed it. The design is sharper but doesn't sacrifice the original's flavor. Wow.

I saw this video referenced on a website. The fact that it didn’t stand out as the finished product is a testament to how well you did. Car companies trying to preserve what made their cars iconic need to stick to the genes. This could easily be a body kit and looks damn clean.

actually, if Mazda ever releases something like this, even if it has a miata engine as an entry model, to compete with the supra 4 banger, and accessible to the most average enthusiast, keeping the whole body style of the FD for even modernize 90 parts, man this would be a hit. !!! jaja great desing man. cheers

Great desgn. The 2021 RX7 will probably have a Skyactiv 4 rotor naturally aspirated engine with over 550 horsepower, a 7 speed stick shift or DCT, weigh 2800 lbs and cost 90K.

Oh my! This car looks so good. The RX-5 only custom leds lighting and it's up to date, it has aged so well. Loved the your little tweaks, especially for a more track focused version. Do the front as well!

Cool redesign! For the rear bumper I think the 2013 Viper kind of diffuser would keep the back a bit lower and just enough space for the licence plate :) Great content !

You did a great job. I think the rear diffuser could be a little bit lower to the ground to be more aggressive and the spoiler still looks like it came out of the 90's but I really do like it.

It looks cool, but we have the RX Vision, and THAT looks fantastic. Kodo design language from Mazda is beautiful. The concept was first shown in 2015 and it still looks like it could be released today. We just need a production version of that car, with an evolved rotary (it exists, as some patents online show)

The organic curves actually work well on this car. It remains gorgeous to my eyes. The current Supra disproves your take that organic curves can't be on a current design. Not that I think the Supra looks as good as this.
