The one and only Ford gt90 concept. Big things coming this is just a sneak peak. Will be sitting down with the owner at the end of april for a full video interview about the car and his museum.

IKR, i was cringing pretty hard, while i wanted to hear it, at least let it warm up before. but we're only going by what we see. the engine could have already been warmed up and shut it off just to start it back up for the video.

I saw this car at the Miami Beach Convention Center car show when I was a teenager. I was already knee deep with cars and mechanics. I had read about the car in both R&T and MT magazines which I was obsessed with. When I got to see it in person, the image was permanently imprinted in my brain how impressive and unique this car looked. The pipes coming out the center rear with a triangle cowl had me amazed for hours. It looked like a ground rocket. The tires had the cars name on the damn tread!!! The blue hue contrasted in such a futuristic way with the white exterior as if it was a spaceship. What a dream car for real. Four turbos and a V12. Now I got to hear it for the first time!! I do agree it was kinds cringy listening to him rev a cold start engine like so. Buts its a huge strong engine. It should be fine. What a remarkable piece of artwork and mechanical feat of an automobile concept. This is truly one luck ass owner wow. I bet Leno is jealous af about this one. I know i would be.

I do not know what the reason for this car was why he did not become so popular. but one thing I know is ford must make returns with this ford just build the same
@uglybassterd15 жыл бұрын
id say it was cost.... the car had an aluminum monocoque , carbon fiber body panels, and an American v12 with a quad turbo set up.... at the time (1995) all these things were basically non-existent and super expensive...... not to mention that they had to use special ceramics similar to that witch is used in the space shuttle in the engine bay , just so the car wouldn't melt.... this was back when the most insane thing on the road was a McLaren F1....that thing is pretty basic technologically in comparison, and it was already a cool million usd when it came out! for comparison a lambo diablo was goin for about 230 000- 250 000
