1996 Geo Tracker No start no fuel pump response no dash lights. Trouble codes for the TCC torque converter clutch and a blown fuse. Turns out the throttle position sensor wires were chafed and shorting out on the top of the starter motor.

@obsessivechickx Check your fuses. If they're blown perhaps you have some similar shorts.

i got a 1996 geo prizm and the fuel gauge wont read how much gas i have i cheched the power to the gauge its good i am thinking its the the fuel sending unit was wondering your thought on it

well i found the fuse after i droped the tank and discovered someone put about a gallon of antifreeze in my tank. so thanks for the help lol

hey i got a 92 tracker. turns over has spark but no fuel which one is the fi fuse?.. it might be the relay or the fuse i doubt its the pump .. any help would be greatly appriciated

I have recently purchased a 96 thats getting fuel and spark, but will not start. Not even with a propane snort or starting fluid. Someone told me of three relays under the dash near the fuse box. Mine are missing and there just so happens to be three plugs hanging as well. Can you show me the location plug colors or where exactly the relays are.

there is a relay that controls fuel pump but most likely its the computer blown capacitor thats not firing the injector,check the computer and all fuses

I walked out to my tracker today, no power at all but to at the dome light now that is not working, no lights no head lights ran fine when parked, no ignition lights nothing. I checked the main fuses all fuses I have no idea what is going on this has never ever happened to me in all the years I have been working on cars. All fuses are fine. I even replaced the main 60 amp fuse still nothing the entire vehicle is dead. Could it be the ECU finally gave up?

Did you ever figure out what the issue was? My daughter's 92 Tracker just did the same thing...Stopped at a light and died. No lights on dash, no noise from the starter or relays. The 60 amp main fuse bis blown. Replaced the fuse, hooked up the battery again and blew the fuse again...
