Agree Roger , my 991.1 GT3 was too fast to “enjoy” on Uk roads , so this is another level again - but then a few track days would cure that 😉. Love the wheel colour against the shark blue would not have predicted that .

Depending on your setup you can actually run dual microphones. You can then mount the other one outside at the back of the car near the exhaust. You can either run the audio separate or adjust the volume for each microphone. And have them overlaid on the same track

True, but that doesn't represent what you hear from the driver's seat.

@@JoeAchilles1 If you play with the levels you might be able to represent what you actually hear, if the mic isnt picking it up correctly in the cabin. or if you need more induction noise maybe one at the base of the windshield (this wont pick up wind noise).

Being a BMW fanboy myself, I've always lusted after the 911 GT3 & Cayman 718 GT4. I've not been able to attain one yet due to other financial obligations (but I will own a Porsche 4.0Liter within the next couple years). I've driven the manual GT3 992 & 991.2 and they're sublime! Great review Joe!

Firstly, can't wait to get stuck into your content, it came recommended by Rob so looking forward to it... Yeah PCCB are mighty, but I do love a Porsche steal brake once I'm used to it, also a truck load cheaper to replace pads and disks, I believe the carbons are around £20k for a set 😬 Take it easy and hopefully actually meet you one day 👊

Excellent review!! The classic 911 traits are of 'chatty' steering, but understeer if driven fast into a corner.. steering feel and front end 'bob' in an air-cooled 911 is something to cherish as its so unique and tells you so much about road surface. The 992 GT3 is technically brilliant regardless, but with all gains there are losses too. Its a shame it has become a flippers toy.
