Hi just wondering if you could tell me the location of the earth strap from the hpfp to the bulkhead. My 2.7 xf has the annoying taping noise (think jaguar did a recall on it) its not any noise from the engine itself. i believe its the vibration through the earth stap to the bulkhead. Iv got a new earth lead ready just struggling to find it 😅 just to say your videos have helped me out a lot. Keep up the good work. 👍

Hi Jon, thank you for watching and for your feedback. I have not removed a 2.7 XF engine for a few years and don't have one in at the moment so can't check for you. I can't remember an earth strap from the HPFP to bulkhead, I could be wrong but the earth strap from engine to body / frame fits on the bellhousing by the starter motor ( low down on the righthand side of the engine. As sitting in the car looking forward ). As soon as another 2.7 comes in I will check for you but let me know how you get on.
