I like doing them the way you usually do. All attention on the notches is critical though. Tip: have a dedicated tweezers for this, and have carved a trench into one of the inner sides of the tweezers, it holds the claw wire, and is less inclined to slip. I love your channel!

Maybe a silly question, but how do you manage to solder on the other claws and not melt off the ones that were already soldered 😂 . I am a beginnerer and I can not manage to solder the second one as it keeps falling off probably because of too much heat.. is there any trick there to avoid this? I am using the Durston torch for soldering..
