The recipe is 5 to 1 ratio. 5 teaspoons of honey. 1 teaspoon of pink salt. Mix in a glass jar. Cover with a lid. Before going to bed only- take a ½ teaspoon under your tongue. So this recipe is great because the ingredients each night dose is a very small amount. You do not take the whole recipe in one night. Only use ½ a teaspoon of the mixture under your tongue before going to bed. Thanks Dr. Mandell

I am a retired prison officer. Thirty yrs ago I was shot in the back on door step own home by ex cons doing some invasion. I was shot six times. Naturally heaps of P T Stress. Plus 30 yrs bad sleep. Last night took this medication. Beautiful deep refreshing. Woke up so energetic. Today best day I've for 30 years. Energetic full of energy no stress. Thank YOU for bringing up this topic! I can never figure out why those advertisers on these videos make you sit for 30 minutes to buy something when they could present it like Dr. Mandell does, in mere minutes. And Dr. Mandell doesn't charge a single PENNY for his welcome wisdom! He could very easily get a lab to manufacture all his natural cures in vitamins or supplement shakes and his 8,000,000+ subscribers would be rushing to buy them! I hope God blesses Dr. Mandell abundantly and keeps him, his family and his subscribers in excellent health!

I read this a few days ago and thought it was BS. But I happened to have some Himalayan salt and honey in my pantry. I have had sleep problems for years. It made me feel drowsy in 15 to 20 minutes and styed asleep most of the night.. It has worked on 2 consecutive nights. I don't know if it will keep on working, but for the time being- I'm in.

@@ElevatedVehicles no. I had my 7 th sleep study done. I have low oxygen that’s why I wake up every two hrs. Plus sleep apnea after I was told my sleep apnea was better 3 yrs ago. Now I wait 6 weeks for my machine where everyone lie’s and says it’s on its way & normally the people doing paper work haven’t processed it when I call for follow up of the dam machine. Thank you for asking. 🙏🙏🙏

Ok I’m 2/2. I started using this mix 2 nights ago and I have slept through the night both times. I usually wake up several times in the middle of the night… hasn’t happened in the 2 days I’ve taken this. The first night I actually slept through my alarm! Thank you!!!

You are a blessing to me was losing my ability to walk straight for 6 months now and realized after watching your video yesterday that it might be due to an injury I took to the neck. No doctor has said this I've been doing it for 24 hours and I swear this morning I'm walking better. I don't understand why other doctors don't know and try the things that you do. I've been testing this for about a week now and it really does work! I get deeper and better quality sleep. I've tested this by skipping a night and then I struggle to fall asleep. Take the honey and Himalayan salt and fall asleep easily and sleep better. It's crazy bit it works

I've suffered from waking up during the night, plus not being able to sleep more than five or six hours per night for years. Nothing has solved that problem. I've tried this for three nights. My pattern is the same but this recipe helps me sleep more deeply when I am asleep. I am so grateful for that.

I sleep really well when I go in the infrared sauna for 30 min. I also take time release melatonin.. both are also highly recommended for immune enhancement.

Also be sure to spend 30 minutes outside daily year round regardless of weather especially in sunshine). Keep away from all screens at least 30 minutes before bed.

Dr.Berg mentioned something about red light helps produce melatonin. I have problems staying asleep. I go to sleep but wake up 4-5 hours later. I try to stay healthy by exercise and good nutrition, but the lack of sleep affects my energy. I try meditating when I wake up sometimes it works.

@@Birds-i5b get a blood sugar monitor. gradually reduce the amount of carbohydrates you eat, to a max of maybe 50-100/day. gradually reduce the number of times a day you ingest calories from any source, aiming for only once or twice a day. by the time you achieve these goals, you will be able to have a tsp of honey daily after dinner without raising your blood sugar too high. I also recommend you find a new doctor. God bless ❤️🙏❤️

I am very excited to share that this worked 100% Thank you Dr. Mandell, I did indeed make a mixture of 5 to 1 Raw honey and Himalayan salt and put it into a small glass jar. I love honey, so I found it tough to keep it under my tongue because I wanted to swallow it... but I did, and to be honest, I don't remember falling asleep, and slept through the night and awakened filled with energy! Thank you again, and I owe my good health to you! I really hope that if anyone is having a tough time sleeping, they give this a try...it's amazing, truly amazing, but everything that I've tried that you suggested, has worked to the nth degree. Thank you for this video, because I have to tell you, with all the craziness going on in the world, I haven't been sleeping very well as of recently...so I stopped listening to the news for a while today, and I'm super glad that to have found this information...it came to me at the right time. OMG, reading this at 6 am. April 8, 2023. SO many positive reviews!!! Going to try this tonight. Like others here, I have a serious sleeping disorder. I think I’m born with it because as a little child I remember dreams woke me up at nights. They still do. It sometimes takes hours before I fall asleep, I’m awake at least 3 times a night, and I wake up too early in the morning and feel exhausted. Thank you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Doc! I hope it works on me as well.

Update: just had night nr. 3: woke up at 5 am (dreaming, too warm and had to pee🤷‍♀️). Not able to sleep anymore after that 😢😢😢. But! I only woke up 1 time instead of 3-5. So, there is improvement. I’m not giving up hope yet 😁.

​@@helenabok1610 Peeing 3-5 times at night is mostly (sadly) from you being told for decades to be afraid of ingesting too much salt ... and it's causing the opposite condition (hyponatremia), which is much worse than a few points higher blood pressure. Your body is literally not holding onto water, from the lack of sodium (and likely a low carb diet) and so you're constantly drinking and peeing, like the water is going right through you. What's happening to you, happened to me. Check with your doctor or reach out to Dr. Mandel first (I am not a doctor), but try adding 1/8-1/4 tsp salt (200-400mg sodium) per 24-32oz water bottle you drink throughout the day. That will help as well, give you more energy throughout the day and help lower your racing heart rate. Keep doing what this video is suggesting with the salted honey, with closer to the recommended amount, under the tongue. Vegans, vegetarians, and those on the low carb and keto diets need to supplement even more salt than the rest of us, especially since they are eating more fruits and vegetables, which have high potassium and a high water content that will further dilute the sodium concentration in the blood. ​@@consciousriverfilms one size doesn't fit all, so to speak. I've been a vegetarian for over 30 years and my problem is eating enough fruits and vegetables. I'd rather eat a bag of pretzels. Also, there are many different reasons why one would urinate multiple times. Before you suggest somebody ingest more salt, find out if they eat a lot of processed foods which contains tons of salt. Also find out if they have a heart problem and high blood. In that case more salt might harm them.

I add more salt already: I start my day with ACV, some Celtic salt and a little honey. But I will make a bottle with salt as well, as you advised me to. My blood pressure is low so it won’t hurt me. Heavens, it works better than I expected. I used to use 5-HTP (the serotonin-melatonin precursor) for similar purposes, and your honey/salt mixture seems just as, if not more, effective. While waiting for a TURP to address an enlarged prostate, I've been waking 3 or 4 times a night. With your mixture, it's been just once, (twice last night, but that was due to the cat wanting her breakfast early). Many thanks for your info!

It works! I had many sleepless nights, finally getting to sleep at near 4AM. Trying your methods with honey and salt, and I have more sleep thru nights recently. Sleeples nights occur more frequently in older adults, but your Honey/Salt methods changed that for me. However, rubbing castor oil on the bottom of my feet does seem to work. I cut an old pair of socks at the ankle and wear those even though I don’t like to wear socks to bed. I think cutting off the top of my sock so there’s nothing above the ankle helps. I don’t feel the socks…..maybe cuz I’m asleep! Lol. The socks are dry thin cotton

I have debilitating severe spinal stenosis - the pain has turned into cramps down the back of my legs, my feet pass have become numb, my ankles are swollen, I have Osteoarthritis and CKD - sleep is almost out of the question! I dont take a lot of medicine, I prefer the wholistic approach and do what I know how - Please help me understand what is going on with me! Can you use sea salt instead? Couldn’t find my Himalayan and only take a few grains, my lips and mouth become Very Dry so I usually eliminate most salt in my diet. Thanks 🙏🏼

Dear Dr Mandell I've just recently subscribed to your channel and what a treasure trove! A couple of years ago I could easily sleep about 7 hours. Not per night, but for an entire 5day week. I just couldn't sleep. Needless to say my insomnia caught up with me biiiig time, and it took me a years to walk back from total work burn-out. I feel self-conscious about sharing this publicly as I never thought this could happen to me. For a while I was on powerful drugs that made me sleepwalk my way to my room 3mins after taking it. I'm sure most of that poison is still in my body. I have turned the corner though, and more often than not I now fall asleep naturally with the help of guided meditation. Gracias doctor Mandell for sharing this video I was reading the comments and I’m glad that a lot of people tried it and it worked great for them and I’m going to try it asap tonight I have been dealing with this problem and I don’t want to be prescribed with those nasty pills for insomnia Thank you once again!!! This I can do. I’ll try tonight! I keep a supply of local honey, use it in my bay leaf/ginger tea. I don’t drink anything after 7 pm, a sip if parched, no liquids/teas. Thanks!

Dr Mandel, thanks for this advice. Never been a good sleeper (6 hrs on a good day or less since I was very young). I am 51 post menopausal and sleep has become difficult to achieve. I use liquid melatonin, I am giving a try to your advice.

Raw, unprocessed honey is the way to go. Anything else is fake. Wish you the best of lucks. I know how insomnia can destroy your life and health.

Please go to health food store and get a herbal sleep aid if this doesn't work. ( i choose mine without melatonin-- too groggy in morn). But you neeeed to sleep. Soo important.

Some magnesium might help, I have to have a fan or some other white noise very low in the background. No caffeine after 3pm (it bothers some more than others) try to have your room a bit cool, clean sheets, and go to bed at the same time, wake up at the same time. I have to take a sleeping medication though as I was like you, only two hrs at a time and it would take me over an hour to fall asleep each time. Going for a brisk walk after supper helps, meditation (if you’re into that) and deep breathing. Omega 3 supplement before bed helps, vitamin D, chamomile tea or even any herbal tea. I hope you get some quality sleep soon. If not, please see your dr. Your body can’t function without proper sleep. It really made me miserable.
