Might need some padding for that seat, that 500 is going to shake you to death being solid mounted!

A lighter flywheel and a balanced crank will reduce a lot of the vibration

@@VasilyBuilds you could also get a 1 inch thick sheet of rubber and some longer bolt's but that's probably overcomplicating it.

@@noahpaulette1490 rubber engine mounts and chain drive is too unreliable and if you meant the seat you dont really want your seat bouncing around, cross kart's usually have fitted padding to the driver and a balanced engine, you can actually add a counterbalancer to a cr500 engine which would help a bunch but its one of those fully custom jobs, includes drilling a gaping hole in your casing just under the water pump and actually building up the casing around that hole to accept a 1:1 counterbalance off the crank. intresting to look at if the forum post is still about

The progress is going steady and consistent. This will be a badass build. You are going to need a wheelie bar though. Suspension setup will be the most important.

Hey, Vasily. Save your money on the cro-mo tube. Using it like that - welded to a mild steel frame actually gains you nothing. Cro-Mo should be welded with the correct rod, and heat-treated and annealed after welding, but welding it to mild steel only leaves you with the strength (at the joint) of the mild steel regardless of the filler metal. Save your cro-mo for suspension A-arms or some such. But, hey, I don't pretend to know what you've got in mind for it, and your reasons are your own. Congratulations, though....you are doing a great job!

That frame looks really good! Might be tricky getting the travel out of the front because looks like your pivots will be the frame width apart . I had similar problems on my build, I’m sure you will work it out though!

I'm building a full independent buggy out of a mini Sprint car with a ported and bored crf250r motor but sooner or later I'll put a bigger one in it but I'm building it to fit in the back of my pickup with a camper shell so I can take it to the dunes in the truck and pull it out and have a perfect tow rig no trailer or anything love the vids man keep doing you 🤙

If this turns out as nice as it looks like its going to. Have you thought about building frames with the front and rear suspension, and selling them. Let people that want one finish the mechanical part. They could finish with engine of their choice. I love the front of this buggy. Hope the back turns out as nice. Fabulous start to this build.
