Also in TotK, again the fire temple is absolutely packed with minecart tracks.

The people who made Indiana Jones and the temple of doom was such huge Nintendo fans that they made a mine cart scene clearly inspired by Donkey Kong Country 10 years before the game was released.

The best part about the Minish Cap minecarts is how Elzo eggs a scared Link into riding one... Only for him to get scared after riding the initial cart. Link, on the other hand, loved the experience.

it isn't in this video, but sawmill thrill from tropical freeze is one of the best levels ever made in a platformer. that right there is the ideal minecart level.

That Hinox boss in Tri Force Heroes was a nightmare to play online. You'd always get the Link with the bow & arrow shooting nonstop and blowing the whole team up.

The mine cart of snes inspired by the mine cart on Indiana Jones and the temple of doom inspired by the carl barks comics, inspired by the late XIX century stories, a mix of legendary caves and roller coasters. There is a great scene with a mine cart from the movie "la ballade des dalton" 1970's

Memories of playing DKC 1 in multiplayer. We're cruising along, having a good time... then comes the Minecart level. I'd beat it after 1-5 tries, and be approaching the end of World 3. While they'd have died in that Minecart 20+ times and hate the game afterwards 😂

How do you even define a "Nintendo" game? does Banjo-Tooie even count as a Nintendo game, being developed and owned by Rare (and now Microsoft)? What's the criteria?
@LooygiBros3 күн бұрын
Banjo-Tooie was originally published by Nintendo and it's been a Nintendo 64 exclusive for almost ten years :)

Wait til you find out who developed DKC and DK64
@Kafei20062 күн бұрын
@@chooongusbug724 I know that but DK is a Nintendo owned license, Banjo is not. Which is why you won't see any DK games on Rare Replay for instance, something so many people insist could happen without Nintendo's consent. The argument that Nintendo published Banjo Tooie is absolutely fair however and I had not thought of that.
@Kafei20062 күн бұрын
@@LooygiBros That's fair. I was just wondering if the rules could be stretched to include Super Adventure Island, which has only ever been released for Super NES and by and large belongs to a franchise that mainly appeared on Nintendo systems. This has a minecart level in it, but that wasn't published by Nintendo themselves though.
