A few Spider-Facts off the top of my head that some people may not know. Spider-Man is strong enough to pick up a tank, a subway car, and once he even helped lift the Daily Bugle via support beam. The black symbiote that bonded with Peter during Secret Wars was female and could possibly count as a love interest. Spider-Man has used his wall crawling abilities offensively in combat twice to peel people's skin off, once if desperation, the second time was deliberate and out of rage. During Secret Wars, Spider-Man fought six members of the X-Men at once (Wolverine, Colossus, Wolfsbane, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Storm) and won. He lost his leg in an alternate timeline and still runs around as Spider-Man every now and then to help out his daughter, Spider-Girl. Spider-Man is fast enough to clog the barrel of a gun with webbing, after the trigger is pulled, but before the bullet leaves the chamber. Spider-Man has crossed over with other comic characters, he's met Superman, Batman, and even Red Sonja. Criminals of New York have learned to gauge Spider-Man's mood by how much he wisecracks, if Spider-Man is particularly quiet, they start to get worried.

Eric Coldfire Ah, ah, ah. It was Rogue, not Wolfsbane. I remember it fondly. Dodging around, webbing Rogue to the ceiling, smacking Wolverine aside twice, easily catching Nightcrawler as the mutant claimed to be as agile as him...it was a fantastic display. Technically he didn't win though, he bailed on the fight to warn the others of Xavier's plan. Which was promptly erased from his brain just before he could tell anyone.

NOVA Akuma Ah, ah, ah. He lost his leg fighting Green Goblin. It was a pumpkin bomb explosion. It destroyed his leg, but killed Norman Osborn. His special "Spider-Man-ing" leg (different from the one he usually uses during the day) has a terrible tendency to stick to surfaces when he doesn't want it to.

It's quite common for people like Peter (and myself for that matter), who's family has lived in New York for generations, to pick up words from their surroundings. It's what happens when you live in the most culturally diverse place in human history. Peter is from Forest Hills, a neighborhood with a larger Jewish community. So it would not be out of character for him to have a little Yiddish sprinkled in his speech, Jewish or not.

I remember in the arc involving Morlun, Spidey gains the ability to retract stake like stingers from his writs/web shooters. This was the first time (for me at least) I'd seen spidey with weapons intended to kill as opposed to his usual less than lethal arsenal. Either way the stinger look fking bad ass!

Peter originally only had a gifted level of intellect, not genius. According to Marvel anyway. The likes of Reed and Doom had what was classified as superhuman intellect. Meaning they were geniuses in basically every field of scientific study. Guys like Ock, and Banner, Stark and Pym, were geniuses in one particular field. Then below that, you had Peter and Hank McCoy, guys who were brilliant, but not genius. Since then though, they've basically merged all those levels of intellect together, and all those guys, save the ones on the top, have gotten intellect bumps.

I got a few for you. Spider-Man once became a new Lizard and on another occasion, a Hulk...aside from when everyone became a Hulk. He once defeated the Hulk by telling him a joke. It was apparently funny enough to change him back into Banner. He once suffered an identity crisis...a real one, not just a saga called that...and tried to "bury the Man, become the Spider". It was stupid. And from the 90s. The Red Skull that killed his parents wasn't the Nazi one, but a Communist who took up the name when the original was thought to be dead. More than once, he had to use a costume store's cheap imitation of his costume. One actually had "Die Spidden" (I think) on the back. The other, he had to keep in place by webbing the seams. And lastly...and honestly, all real fans should know this...he was once buried alive, a traumatic experience if there ever was one.

Dan Slott didn't invent the whole 'smart camera' concept. That was actually introduced YEARS ago, in one of the Spider-man novels. 'The Venom Factor'. That version actually was mounted on a hinge, and would track the spider-tracers in his costume to keep him in-frame.

fact 1 : spiderman can lift 10-20 tons in his various stages. let's go with 10 toons. that means his bone, muscles and skin are that much stronger. and yet when he punches doc ock in the face, dock ock is barely affected (despite being normal human, other than themetal arms). speed and agility are also that much higher than a normal human being. this phenomena returns always when fighting normal humans who are with 1 or 2 above normal skills. and yet he gets kicked by daredevil, cap america (universe 616). when you consider this 1 fact you realize that everything that follows is irellevant because it's stupid. in short, fuck all comics. (i used to like marvel till brand new day, then i decided that enough is enough, i hate comics totaly with all my heart).

+Danny Stuivenberg Maguire's Spider-Man wasn't better than Garfield's. His Peter Parker was but considering Maguire's Spider-Man would barely crack jokes or talk during fights whereas Garfield's would then Garfield had the *far* better Spider-Man. Tom Holland has at least shown he can do a good Spidey *and* Parker whereas both previous actors only done a decent job of half the character.

You need a convincing Parker *and* Spider-Man but Maguire only done a good Parker with a poor Spider-Man whereas Garfield done a good Spidey and a poor Parker. Idk about others but best Spidey stories were when he was 20. That point when he was growing and turning from kid to young adult. Those were his best stories and most rerlatable so i am so thankful they brought those times back. Now i enjoyed his teenage years in his first adventures but best were when he was experienced but still learning and growing.
