20 minute Yoga for back pain is a class to both stretch and strengthen the back and strengthen the abdominal muscles. This class was suggested by Pink hope. April Kuan asked for yoga for good posture...which comes from a strong back. If you have back pain, please be mindful practicing these postures. We want to be sure that it helps and doesn't hurt. If your back hurts more when you do backbends, be very gentle with the backbends here, start slowly. If your back hurts more when you fold forward, don't go past 90 degrees fording forward and use a strap for the seated postures so you can sit up tall. Also, sit on the edge of a folded up blanket or pillow. As always listen to your body and rest when needed.

When Lesley passed, I took a time away from practicing with her. It feels so incredible to be back on the mat with you again Lesley. You were an incredibly gifted teacher, you lift me up! Hi Lesley, Its so wonderful to come home after work and be able to take any class with you, Just hearing you speaking thru the practice, your voice, quoting and all, just brings peace in itself to my practice. Also I loved your Yin Yoga Video, I have degenerative disc disease and this has helped me recover with NO SURGERY!!! Your a wonderful Yogi. Ah, Lesley! Thank you! I have been sick this last week and, consequently, my back is killing me from lying down all the time. Plus, it's Pms week which means I'm low motivated and it's harder to be self-positive. This was a brilliant, gentle, loving recovery video today! Much gratitude to you.

I'd really love a quickie yoga for upper back and shoulders. I'm over a keyboard almost all day and no matter what type of chair or desk set up I have pain always creeps into those areas because of it. I enjoy the quickie classes the best as I can complete them before work and they help me set positive intentions for the rest of the day. Thank you for all you do. :)

Hi Leslie, I haven't commented in a while but please know I am forever grateful for what you do here. I have been having neck and shoulder pain for the past week or so from sitting too much at my desk and stress at work and thankfully it is subsiding now from exercise and less sitting but I have also been, (carefully) practicing your different neck and back focused videos and they have been wonderful! I love that I can search your page for whatever is bothering me, from depression to hip pain and find a tool to support and care for myself.
