I’m in my 50s. Something I wish I’d known decades ago is to take care of yourself first. There’s no shame in putting your needs first before you can better take care of other people.

As a 41 year old my advice is to forgive yourself quickly and be kind to yourself. Life is a journey of becoming a better version of yourself wherever you might be on your journey.

My big learning to myself after living in many countries is that your environment (not talking about family or friends here, but culture, weather, economical situation, work) have a huge impact on your overall wellbeing, these can make you or break you. Choose the city / country you live in carefully and feel free to change if it you've not been thriving for a long time despite your efforts. Sometimes it's not you, it's just not the right match.

@@GeorgiaCaney Knowing that the older we get , the closer to death we are ( although we could die so many ways , being killed , ran over etc etc ... how f*cking depressing , life in it's self it's pointless. It is not fair. However there is some positive news, scientists are closer to finding away for humans to live longer ( sadly we have not found away to be immortal) but still , it is good news. Not sure how they plan to sell it , I assume it will be in drug from, and be expensive

when your young you think you will be young forever, 20s go by so fast in other words we are very arrogant when we are young but life makes us humble.

Ah so nice to see someone closer to my age...I always wonder if I'm the only one watching someone younger tell me about life. But definitely Georgia is one of my favorites since I do feel life experiences have given her the depth to be able to connect to various age groups

Loved this I think these are all things we don't talk enough about :) I'm in my 30s and in the process of learning to let go of things and people that don't reciprocate effort or don't value me.

My advice is to make the most of your time. Study, advance in your career, dont be too soft, keep going, realise life is short and achieve things and make money to make yourself and your loved ones proud of you.
