I own a 2007 VTX 1300C and I love it it is absolutely the most trouble free bike I have ever owned ! It has plenty of power for 2 up and I am 6’2” 235lbs and the bike fits me perfectly! I would recommend these bikes to any one who loves to just go out hop on ant hit the starter and go !

I have that same bike. I have about 80,000 miles on it and it has never quit on me. It's probably the most reliable bike on the road. Also beautiful and powerful. Not super fast but fast enough.

Good to know I just got a 06 with 3,820 miles and the first day I got it the starter switch went out so I sent realize that problem was because the guy had put a flashing relay for the head light so it place to much of a load for a plastic and cooper switch to carry. That being said my bike has been in a climate controlled garage and when the guy put Vance & Hines pipe on he had it dyno tuned so I've never had to use the choke and it always starts the instant you hit the button and I plan to put 20,000 miles on before I sale to buy a 1800

@jlrutube1312 what’s the most mileage you’ve ridden her on one riding trip and how often do u stop and rest and do u ever have to stop to let her cool off?
@jlrutube13122 жыл бұрын
@@lstruggy To be honest, most of that 80,000 miles is like a million short trips to nearby towns and back ... normally just to buy something I need. Occasionally I take a three hour ride across a good part of my state and stay at a lake where my parents have a lake house and then usually ride back the next morning. Usually I just ride around my state (which is Oklahoma.) I just stop when I need gas or have to make a bathroom stop etc. I have never had the need to let the bike cool off since it is water cooled. Really the only problem is that I still have the stock seat and it is not really the best quality and after a couple of hours my backside gets a little uncomfortable. I suppose I should get a Mustang seat but I am sorta poor these days ... or maybe I'm just cheap.
@lstruggy2 жыл бұрын
@@jlrutube1312 yes the $300 mustang seat is worth every penny! Just sold mine today 2006 vtx1300R w only 11k miles excellent condition I’m gonna miss her I miss her already 🥺

I have a 2009 VTX 1300R with 4500 miles on it and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I used a 2" hole saw and removed the baffles from the factory exhaust and installed new dyna jets, it sounds great. Awesome bike!

Awesome motorcycle I have an 05 vtx retro that was originally that color. I bought it wrecked no frame or neck damage. Been riding it for 5 years now," absolutely no mechanical or riding problems! I put tires and brakes on once a year and keep the oil changed.

I owned an ‘02 Yamaha 1100, very similar bike. It was thrashed; I had to take Al foil with H20 and scrub the rust off the wheels and spokes, pitting, frame had been drug, 20,000 miles-even running lean with the Cobras, started up every time in all weather conditions. I waxed and waxed until I brought it back to life. I stripped everything off: the passenger seat, windshield, bags. I never had one single problem and sold it for what I had purchased it for years later. These are the best bang for your buck, I just hated the worn out suspension and the air-cooled engine would roast your legs in summer traffic. I could only imagine how this example would ride. You will never break down if it is like my Yamaha, and will hold its value. Fun tv as always, thank you Kaplan Cycles

What a gorgoues bike. I've owned 8 Hondas and this was my favorite back from 2006 to 2011. Right now I am yearning and looking for another. Just an all around great bike to ride and of course Honda reliablity. Such a shame they closed down the Marysville, OH motorcycle plant, now just a warehouse for Honda automotive (actually a client of mine) and except for the 750 shadow, have exited the cruiser market.

Great bike. This is the result of another Honda cruiser built like it will last with comfort and styling that shows. The VTX line up are great bikes, especially the 1300. They should still make it, but they replaced with what they call a factory chopper with the new FURY. What a joke. It's fuel injected but only has 53 HP? (the 1300 VTX has 74 HP) One of Hondas best looking bike in my opinion. The Fury, not so much.
